That little part in the right looks like it will attach to the top of your chimney before installing into the tank
ETA: There is an O ring too if you were wondering

Ordered the bell cap and (thank you for the reminder) a couple of center pins (have both the Squape R and Rs)I ordered from c9v. They are also available directly from StattQualm.
I'm kicking myself for not adding a spare Rs chimney and a spare 510 pin to my order. I guess i'll just have to order another base to justify the shipping!
I'm surprised you were able to get so many coils in there. I've been using the wide deck, tempered 28 gauge Ni200 & usually do 8 wraps around a 3mm bitt & get around 0.11-0.12. With 12 wraps in that small space and at 0.09, some of the coils must be touching? Which deck are you using?
Hmm honestly I wish it was that simple. Any ideas about the air pockets though? It's very annoying and I'm certain that's what causing the serious flooding. My b deck will occasionally have issues if the wick somehow falls out of place in the cup. It literally just takes poking at it for a sec with a toothpick to solve... (and the cleanup) I don't even know what I do exactly when I poke at it, I think sometimes it just wants attention
I haven't tried the 350j chip yet (waiting another week or two for my VF SX to be built/ship), but I've been using a DNA40 & if I made a coil like the one you described I'd be tapping out on temp control (TC) way too quick. I have to make them perfectly spaced & even then, to avoid TC I kick it up to max out at 450°.I am using the W deck, and yes some of the coils are probably touching. Tonight I will give the 8 wraps on a 3MM a try.
Also, I highly recommend using tempered Ni200, it's a ton easier to work with and anything not labeled as such is annealed which is a lot more flimsy and difficult to wrap with. The only source of tempered Ni200 that I know of is stealthvape or something like that. It's in the UK but ship to me in Boston pretty quick and cheaply.
