Today marks 30 days. Back in my early 20's I managed to quit for 6 months cold turkey. I must add that there wasn't a day during that 6 month period I didn't have tremendous urges for a cigarette...would hold off and it "might" go away. Finally, when all "he..." broke lose in life, I started again and figured this filthy habit and dependance would be with me to the grave.

I've thought on and off (like many of us) of quitting. Watching others try an assortment of treatments, patches, pills, and so forth, it was evident I wasn't going that route.

Despite all the poor feedback about "mall" vendors, I for one am sincerely grateful they exist as I would not have been introduced to a "real" alternative to smoking. From the moment of one drag on an e-cig, I knew "this" was the answer. The hand to mouth, the inhale, the exhale, the plume of vapor that looks exactly like smoke told me this was a "no brainer".

As each day passes, I know now that I will NEVER put another death stick to my lips. That my friends is huge and marks for one of the biggest life changing experiences to date (there are a couple others in life of course....LOL).

So, just wanted to encourage any and all that may be sitting on the fence or have those dreaded thoughts of returning to analogs, DON'T. Don't even allow the temptation of "I'll just have one to see what they taste like"....DON'T! vaping is your key to never smoke again. Reading the stories here proves you may be analog free for the rest of your life. 30 days doesn't sound like very long but honestly, years will pass without ever looking back.

Isn't it great waking up without a tight chest and clogged throat?

You said it! A world of difference, especially my blood pressure. The only thing that raises my blood pressure back to my smoking days are all the posts about taxes, restrictions/bans etc. on vaping.

Anyway, not trying to hijack thread. This is a great accomplishment Freefire !!:toast:
