• Need help from former MFS (MyFreedomSmokes) customers

Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Well howdy,

I'm a new ecig user who has an affinity for buying a boat load of flavors and realizing my taste buds are dead! Can't quite taste anything even with flavor shots and the such, but I'm hoping that will eventually stop.

I've been a 7-9 cigarette a day smoker for the past two years (pack a day for the previous 10 years yuck).

This fancy vaping thing has me down to only 2 cigarettes a day, the good morning, and the good night. Hoping to do away with them entirely, but looks like I'm still working at that.

I switched from a 510 with cartos to a variable volt eGo with tanks, but realized I taste my juices even less (didn't think that was possible!) with the clearomizer.

Any suggestions for someone with no taste buds? VG only please, learned the hard way I am quite allergic to PG

Maybe try some vendors that specialize in 100% VG juice. Also you might want to try extra steeping/breathing time, i find that my higher vg juices need at least an extra week for steeping and twice as much breathing time to really reach the same flavor levels as my 50/50 blends. I've had some good luck with the Johnson creek Red oak line which is 100% VG. Lastly what kind of tank are you using? If you're using a carto tank you might want to switch to a kanger bottom coil or maybe try a vivi nova style tank (I have not used 100% VG juice in a vivi tank. It may cause some wicking issues). I find that 100% vg in carto tanks or cartos in general to be less than ideal, especially if the juice hasn't steeped and fully melded. I think maybe the separation causes the flavoring to burn off first leaving the heavier vg to give you a flavor less vape (I don't get burnt carto taste and I still get tons of vapor, just no flavor). These are just my thoughts I'm not sure if that's really what's going on. Anyway I'm sure other people will chime I'm with their favorite 100% VG juice vendors. Hope this helped, good luck.

I have some Red Oak in my vivi nova right now, and I'm somewhat able to taste it (it's a minty flavor), but it does constantly taste burnt/give no flavor to me.

I purchased a whole bunch of 100% VG juices, but sadly can't taste too many of them, and the ones I did taste, I didn't like.

Hey Dave,
Is it possible that you're vaping at too high of a voltage setting on your VV? I find that some flavors need a little less wattage, and the extra power could be contributing to your burnt taste. Anyways, congrats on the switch to vaping!

Cheers,
/WD/

I've tried all different voltages, not sure what the issue is. I'm thinking it has something to do with the 100% VG. The burnt taste happens more on the darker liquids.

I've found cartos to lose flavor with 100% VG juices. Clearomizers will work better. Iclear30 or Vivi Nova! Or you could just make the jump [backwards?] to dripping!

I'm actually having the exact opposite experience haha. With the cartos I can actually taste the liquid, but with the clearomizer (I have a Vivi Nova), I taste it much less.

Try Vapeing in the 3.7-4.2 range should be fine also have u tried a cool menthol or absinthe they are potent flavors. Or u can try Bacon it's awful to me and took over 2 hours to get the flavor out of my mouth, but I'd bet u could taste it lol.

I picked up a mint flavor which I can taste the most out of any flavor I've had. I might give the absinthe a try as well. Haha I think I might pass on the bacon though.

As an added tidbit, I can only recognize the taste when I exhale through my nose, as odd as that sounds. Anyone have experience with that?

If you're getting more flavor with a carto than a vivi tank. I'd wager that you are having wicking issues with the thicker VG juice, this would also cause the burnt taste. Try a kanger t3/mt3, they are bottom coil clearos. I find flavor in these to be pretty good and with a little tuning pretty much no dry hits. For $5-$6 they are a cheap enough option to try. Lastly how are you steeping your juices?
