Sounds good, the juice for me is the last step, bought a few ready made ones, then decided to roll my own, pretty much just a plaything for me though, as I don't like too much sweet & gunky juices, I pretty much stick to menthol with a touch of vanilla. Sometimes I add some TPA & Stevia for a change, but that's about it, so one 'in' device and one 'out' device is fine for me

It's funny to me when I read people keep their ProVaris or Reos at home. Those are the ones I take out with me in case they get run over or I'm trapped in a flood and need to bash out the car window. They are both tanks. I keep my pretty mods at home. :)

I see many have multiple devices here, maybe I'm just lazy, but two are all I really want to deal with for now, its just which two. The REO is really sounding good to me, prob. the mechanical one, love the idea of filling it once per day, without a big tank to lug around

You'd likely be looking at a Grand then. Both of the minis use 3ml bottles, whereas the Grand uses a 6ml. It also takes an 18650 battery, which is the same as a Vamo in it's large configuration.

ETA: The Grand isn't very big, despite the name. You can find lots of pictures comparing the sizes in the Reo sub-forum.

I sure wish there was some place here in NYC where I could see the thing up close to see how it feels

You won't find a Reo at a B&M, Rob makes them and sells them. However, you might check out the Reo forum to see if there is someone in NY you could meet up with. You know how vapers love to show off their gear.

Can someone tell me just what a Provari does the Vamo V3 doesn't, that's worth the $150+ more it costs?

Ugh, you Vamorians and your fuzzy math. Here, once again...sigh.

$159 for a Satin Silver ProVari
$36 for a Vamo (your number, slick)

159-36=$123

123 < 150+. C'mon, man.

The accuracy of the Vamorians has been measured, and found to be wanting....not a member of the ProVarinati finds this even a little bit surprising.

I do not own a Provari, just happen to stop by. Curious why the discussion drifted from the OP to some kind of "circle the wagons" dialog, in the Provari subforum no less. Someday, I will join the Provarinati too.
A history lesson of how the ProVarinati came into being is needed here:

It is well known among veteran vapors that Provari and Reo owners have a special loyalty to their APV of choice. Even PBusardo mentions this in the beginning of his review of the Provari and provides an explanation of the phenomenon. Many novices and veterans alike question why any APV would be worth the higher cost of purchasing a Provari. Naturally, Provari owners attempt to explain why a Provari is worth that additional cost to them. The debates are often pages long, usually become heated arguments and sometimes lead to name-calling and personal attacks, with threads often eventually being closed by ECF moderators.

Recently several ECF Provari owners just brainstormed and decided to have some fun with all of this Provari loyalty and Provari hate stuff. Someone came up with the name and the logo of the ProVarinati, I presume after the cultist group named the Illuminati, because many Provari Haters have called us a cult. So the ProVarinati is a not-so-inside joke among Provari owners. Our group is open to all Provari owners who wish to partake in the fun. Secret decoder rings not required, but are recommended.

LOL, Bob, if you're checking out the REO, you won't find any bells and whistles on that mod either,,,,,,,,,AND it costs roughly the same cost as a Provari (some slightly less, some slightly more),,,,,,,,

but it's a fabulous mod, a total tank, USA made with fabulous customer service,,,,,,, and you'd probably love it :)

As I said, just studying and asking questions, what is the lowest ohms for the Provari without tripping the short cutoff

I have 2 V2.5's... Both will run my 1.0 ohm dual-coil Hercules RTA up to 4.0v with no errors.. I like to keep it @ 3.8v. My mech mods with the same 1.0 ohm dual-coil will drop to 3.80-3.75v on a fresh battery, and slowly drop further every hit. I like the consistent 3.8v the ProVari offers.. first hit is as good as the last.. I have confirmed output voltage on my load tester. ;)

Concerning the limit.. ProVape does state in their V1 / V2 comparison:

Because of part variations, typical unit outputs are higher than what is displayed in this table for both models.

For the record the name was bestowed upon us by His Lordship EddardinWinter, Praetor ProVarinati. :)

Just as good... is the common phrase in most of the disparaging posts, that and the poster never having owned one. Why do they come on the ProVari threads? You don't see people posting on threads for other devices about how much less an XXX is compared to a Chi You (for example), plus it has VW!

This, of course, is not directed at those who someday hope to join the ProVarinati, it is for the nimrods who crash our threads:

I'd of thought you'd be miles above this behavior. Jokingly or not.

I guess I can side with you though, kind of, for I'm sure it just brings you to that level when people bomb your favorite device.

And with the COL going up all the time, and the dollar staying and/or losing value, c'mon girl...

I live in one of the poorest States in the country.... Yet, the smoke shops do a bang-up business, with the cheaper cartons of cigs running $45.00... Most go through one of those a week, and always manage to do so. I suppose it's a matter of priorities huh? ;)

Nah, not hair-splitting.. Just the fact if I were to stop vaping tomorrow, within 2 days, I'd be at that smoke shop buying my usual $55.00 carton, plus cigars... ;) I haven't touched tobacco in 3 years, and ever since I quit, I put the same amount of $$ away for my vape budget. I didn't really quit.. I substituted vaping for tobacco smoking. Whatever I don't spend out of the budget goes towards other things.. :)
