Well I did say it had no bearing...

Its just a link where they may be able to get the right batteries, not saying these particular ones..

And its UK, which is handy for UK people.

I will just get mine from Tim as I havent a clue which is right and which is wrong, so will play safe..lol

xa xa, I like so much to see girls that knows nothing about this stuff, its cute:):)

I too have seen those videos, so I know why you feel as you do, but, lets face it, those e-cigs were mods, make by people who were not as knowledgeable as Imeo. I feel we are in very safe hands.

One Modder blew up his batteries not once but twice...lol

If we blow up, we get the boat to Greece and tell him off....lol, well you can....lol

When an explosion take place, the gas must have a hole to leave. Maybe its better to make a hole to the front cap so the gas will leave from there and not from other GGs place. We cover the hole then with a thick sticker.

Its an option. I will think about it.

The bad think Chris is that the batteries are not made by me, so I am not sure 100% about their behavior. I hope they are good because many people here use them.

Would it be best to charge them in the same room I sleep or another room? Maybe if they decide to explode in the night I will be able to throw them out the window quick!! I don't want my batteries to put my family in danger!!

There is no reason for charging them in the same room. You will be dead not from the exlosion but from the noice in the middle of the night!!!

I was of the understanding that the batteries sold with the GG are protected batteries? If this is the case the batteries have a small circuit breaker attached to keep an extreme overload from happening. No explosions from protected batteries.

I agree solong, but just in case. Maybe the possibility is 1 in a million but false things are everywhere:)

I just got my CR2-1000mah 3V LC15266 batteries from China.
They are charging atm (same charger).
I don't notice any difference in size with the TR15270-800mah we use despite the name: "266" means 2,66cm and "270" 2,70cm (both "15" 1,5cm diameter).
They don't seem to be protected: not cut-off voltage written on the cells but it doesn't matter much for me.
I know Mamu ordered those too. Will report for duration later but as I vape less than before it will be more difficult to compare.

*charged now* They do work. No difference at all with the SmokeJuice ones atm. I bet they are protected too. I found back some low nicotine bottle so I will be able to test the duration under heavy usage.

Ok test done.
Well, I can't tell exactly the difference with the batteries we get from SmokeJuice to be honest.

GG grant users have the 6V 1000mah option now.
Size = same than the original ones / no spacer needed.
Smoke, hit, ... = same
Charge time = same (around 2 hours)

Duration = too subjective without the proper electronic discharge measure equipment.
I remember 3 1/2 hours with the original ones when I got my GG and was vaping heavily.
I vape less now. I am less addicted to nicotine. Vaping became more a pleasure than a need.
I tried to vape heavily with low nicotine to test those new batteries and got 3 3/4 hours.
15 mins more so but it's impossible to compare correctly with vaping and only 200mah more.

Life duration is about the same for those kind of lithium batteries: 500 recharge cycles = about 6 months minimum in theory.

I stick with those new 1000mah batteries and I am not disappointed so.
