Been 3 days now that I am gradually switching over to vaping and I am loving it BUT... I am a HUGE Coffee aholic too I practically have an IV line hooked straight to the coffee maker lol.. But today I noticed that my coffee is starting to not taste so good, it's leaving a bitter after taste that sticks around ... Is this temporary or will it go back to normal?

Anyone gone through this?

YES!!!!! I have thousands of dollars of espresso maker-grinder-presses... in my kitchen. I started really tasting the bitter in coffee 3-4 days after quitting. The good news is that it is starting to taste ok again. I have had to tweak the strenght of what I drink. Oh, and you must try Espresso. I have heard his cappuchino is good too.

My taste kept changing over the first few weeks, both too strong and too weak. Once you're past that it gets good and everything just tastes more like it should. Over time your juice taste will probably change too, so you might need some stronger and different types to change up once in a while. A juice I loved suddenly didn't taste good at all, then after bouncing through a couple I liked it tastes good again! Anything to keep vapin'!

Thank you :) and I will definitely look into that Expresso once I can figure out how the do it yourself part.. I am still confused about that and which one i need to get .. I am all over the forum to figure that one out though.. :)

I don't diy... I just refill my cartos with the stuff. Much cheaper and better tasting than prefilled. You just have to figure out nicotine strength.

That's what I am looking into, the ones where I just need to refill and good to go.. I am not familiar with what they look like and what I am looking for when I buy them. I see carto and ato everywhere but not sure what everything mean or what to look for but this forum is definitely edumacating me right now :)

Oh.. my coffee pot is ready... [_]] bitter cup anyone?, cause that's what mine taste like right now.. lol

I have 2 disposable and a kit right now by HDsmoke, the only difference between the 2 is the lenght of the battery oh and the battery from the kit has lines on it like a cigarette.. the disposable has a longer battery and I can switch the tip when it's done which is the carto part right?.. now if you ask the kind or size of the carto for thread size I have no idea i see no info anywhere on either pkg telling me the size of that thread.

My bitter taste buds came back first, too. I'm pleased to report that after a month, my taste buds are starting to stabilize a bit now, although I have to admit that I never knew I liked sweet stuff quite as much as I do. It came as a surprise!

In the meantime, I recommend using either a bit of cream in your coffee to cut the bitter taste, or making a "simple syrup" of water and sugar and keeping a bottle of it in the fridge. It's easier to add a few drops of simple syrup when stumbling around in the morning than it is to measure out however much sugar you want to add to cut the bitter... and if you don't want your coffee sweet-sweet, just those few drops of simple syrup wipe out the bitterness. There's plenty of cooking websites around that'll tell you how to make the simple syrup, and a little goes a very long way.

As far as your cig model, I'm going to recommend that you consider moving to a setup that's about the size of a Sharpie marker instead of one of the cigarette-sized types, if only because the battery life is longer and you can find cartomizers pretty much everywhere. The Riva or kgo options are great, egos work well too. They're all 510 thread size, so anything that fits on a 510 will work with them, plus you have the option of getting stuff that is ego-threaded as well.

Very common side affect of quitting. I drink tons of coffee too and had the same thing. I've always taken coffee black, but for a couple weeks there found if I put just a splash of milk the bitterness went away. After awhile went back to straight motor oil and the universe was right once more
