Hello,
Can being bored with the options of mod switches be a real thing?

I'm planning out a VV wooden bottom feeder mod, and last bit on my parts list is a switch. But as I'm going through pages and pages of switches. I don't want to use any of them. Nothing is really catching my eye. I've been there and done that with the radioshack switches, the metal horn push buttons, and the tactile buttons. I guess I'm looking for something with a little bit more character?

And on a side note, what is up with the price spike on the round metal tactile buttons? Just because they're on a expensive hana modz device, they must be worth $6 a pop? Back in the day, I remember grabbing them for $1 of madvapes lol. That was the switch I was going to use, but I changed my mind.

But have you guys stumbled upon sweet switches? Something unique, that would fit and look good on a Reo style mod? Kind of impractical, but a missile launch switch sure would spice things up. :D

Just a few that are different:

"Availability
Qty in Stock : 0
Min. Order Qty: 10"

Thanks. that is a relief. They are a buck each (YEY!). But $10 + $9 shipping minimum rate? I need 1 lol. Maybe I can find another supplier.

I may just make a switch. Wood housing. Wood button. Some copper adhesive and a spring. Then I can embed a metal coin logo in the top. Food for thought.

you can use a micro switch and then build the cosmetic button around it. this is my switch on my reo, I still need to make a center button cap but this is the only way I could get a stainless button with a brass bezel to match what I was really looking for :)

That may just work. Sweet mod btw - classy.

There are tactile switches with detachable plastic buttons. I could hollow out a bit of wood (button) and insert in the plastic button piece. So it would connect back. Then just make or find a ring to hid the edges.

A much easier option than making a switch from scratch. Thanks. :]

I've been having ideas about a kinda bulky mechanical switch.. Basically a wooden block magnetically "floating" over metal bands, with metal backing the block,,, I don't know if I'm making any sense, I doubt it. I'm really tired.

I bet it's alot easier to do in MS Pain than irl. :p
