Ive got my AGA T+ for a couple of days now, at first when i wrapped my coil, i had 1.6 ohm consistently for the first 3 days. Now when i check my ohm, sometimes it goes up to 4.0 ohm, but goes back down to 1.6, 1.7 ohm if i fire it up for 1 second. i find this kinda odd and want to know if anyone has experienced the same problem and if there's a solution to fix this.

P.S i use 30 gauge A1 kanthal and did 5 wraps, using it on vamo v2

i was thinking about this and i remember once i had this problem because there was a stray piece of wire on the deck.
also check to make sure the coils arent touching the center post. when i started i had a middle coil once that was a tad larger then the others and kind of floated close enough to the post to drive my provari crazy.

Usually, when the resistance goes up and down like that, it's a poor connection. First thing to do is check your + and - connections. Also, make sure the end of the wick isn't touching the bottom of the tank.

what he said, usually shorting somewhere. or loose wires

Sounds like we're all in agreement here. Make sure everything is good and tight, no stragglers, etc.

I once had a similar situation on my iHy, where my negative lead was actually caught in between the center post and negative screw. That build almost caused a meltdown.

I am having same issue thought I was only one. I'll recheck mine now. Killed two birds with one stone.

just the nature of the beast, sometimes we run into problems with seemingly no explanations and you end up redoing it to find out its something small or a step we missed or didnt do correctly. once i was so excited to have a new atty i forgot to tighten the pos screw, the readings were all over the place. 2 ohms then zero and all up and down, burned wire etc. lol
