I have searched through the forum trying to find an answer but with no luck. I currently use the G6 mini tanks with my Tritan batteries. All is well and works great. I thought about buying a Tritan tank to try but not sure what OHMs they are either. Can someone please tell me what the standard OHM ratings are for the G6 and the Tritan tanks. If I purchase a tank, I think I would like to also order a package of the higher OHM coils as replacements. I currently use Mystic and wonder if changing the OHMs to a higher one would change the flavor and which OHM rating would be the best to use for this juice. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. I just don't want to spend the money til I know which option is best.
From your post I'll assume you bought a Triton battery but no tanks, and you use the mini tanks on them. Cause as Amanda said, a G6 bat won't work a Triton Tank.
Having said that, I whipped out my trusty multitester. Minitanks (which only come in one resistance) measures 2.3~2.4ohms. The 2 halo prefilled cartos were a touch higher, and my Triton tanks lower, 2.2
But these are not equivalents. It's like 60mph in a jet, in a car, or on a sled! Same speed, but very different feel.
The minis feel hotter. The same juice that does great in the triton seems to almost burn in the mini, comparatively. Despite the resistance being higher in the mini. (higher resistance = cooler vape, lower resistance is hotter vape, given the same tank!)
I think Mystic with a standard tank will be just fine. In fact, almost every Halo juice is good on standard coils (2.2) except Belgian, which I like a bit cooler.
But we all have different tastes.
If I'm in your shoes, I'd buy a Triton tank or 2. The difference will amaze you, the triton tank give one of the best vapes of any topper. You might love Mystic in the standard.
But guessing on which coil to go to might get iffy. I mean, 12.50 a pack of five (and you can't mix and match)(Hey Cinder, that would be cool, a 5 pack of each different resistance coils!!!)
I would save up and get a Variable Volt Triton Battery. Then I run the standard coil, and can dial it from cold little vape all the way up to Whoa!! too much! Burning!!
Hope this answered it all.
