Always great to have another mixer on ECF.

Ohms is a measure of resistance to electrical flow, but you probably already knew that much so I'll try to move on quickly. Since resisting electrical flow, current measured in Amps, is what Ohms does we know exactly how it impacts power.

Power is work and work for vapers is heat. So power equals heat and heat adds to throat hit and heat makes the vapor. Electrical power is the product of voltage and current. So if we resist current flow, we have less power while if we let more current flow we have more power, which is more heat which is vapor production. (I think thick vs. thin vapor is not solely dependent on power as air flow is certainly a factor.)

In other words, for a fixed voltage, lower ohms means more heat, vapor and power, while higher ohms means less heat, less vapor, because of less power. The formula for this is P = V * V / R or Power (Watts) is equal to Volts squared divided by resistance (Ohms). Since an eGo has a relatively fixed voltage, the only way to adjust power is to change the resistance of the coil.

Ability to feed enough juice to the coil To handle more power is key. You've likely been on the dry side with a nova. Taking the fullness out of the vape. You can try a fluffy cotton over wick to aid in juice available to the coil, and act as a resivoir. A silica over wick can work but not as good. So going to. Lower ohm will work with your setup as long as you have enough juice or you'll get burnt hits.
