I am new to building coils and I have a question about resistance. When I first tested the coil with my multimeter it read 2.3 Ohms. Pulsing and squeezing had me moving between 2.3 and 2.4 (this is on my Provari). I considered it good and put my tank together and vaped away. It's now a couple of hours later and my resistance has gone up from 2.4 to 2.8. It seems to be holding steady but is there a reason to worry? Should I tear it apart and build a new one?

Ohms usually increase slightly with aged coils. The wear and gunk can give a higher reading over time. If it's jumping on a fresh coil you should check your leads and make sure they are snug.
Yep, usually an indication of a poor connection... check those screws!
Thanks for the help! I had tightened the bottom screw and it moved the positive deck. Once I got it positioned correctly I went ahead and redid the coil. It works fine now, and if the resistance goes up I know what to check!
