I brought this up a month ago FYI... and thought it was my ohm reader.

My KFL+ will give crazy ohm readings, over 3.0 ohms and sometimes as much as 6 ohms.. This with a 28 gauge wire wrapped 8 times on a 1/16 drill bit. This setup usually would show a 1.3-1.7 ohm reading. I thought it was my ohm reader, and I brought it with me to a vape meet to show other experienced vapers. Well, they tested my KFL+ on their ohm readers, and were getting the same crazy numbers. The coil fires up like a 1.5 ohm, and hits like one as well. Everyone was really at a loss for explanation as to what is going on. I still vape with it, because it is the only tank I have, but it definitely gets me a bit nervous. The KFL did this a month ago for several days, then the ohm readings returned to normal expected amounts. Now it has been doing this again for the last 3 days. The thing hits like a beast and flavor/vapor is great.

Anyone heard of a tank that is unable to give accurate ohm readings?

I would check and make sure the center post is screwed into the block tightly and the 510 threads are clean. If that doesn't work, then I would break it all down and give it a good alcohol bath. Other than that I have no clue what would cause that issue, it's the ghost in the machine.
Did you make the Blackhat meet today?

Assuming your screws and coil are connected fine You are shorting out at the 510 insulator, your 510 pin may be bent or you are getting current through it. I cannot really come up with anything else.

A short would result in less resistance or none at all. The op is getting more resistance, so something is being added to the circuit. My suggestion would be to remove the coil and use a meter to check resistance between the positive pin and the positive screw as well as resistance between the connection threading and the negative screw. My guess is that one of those will be reading high. That will give the op a place to start.
