Ok, carzy idea

I know part of this sounds gross. I was thinking about vaping while driving, 2 ideas~ one would a cig filter be a good filler? and two for the people looking for "their brand flavor" what about using the filter from an analog you've smoked as filler. maybe if i get bored ill try the first, but im loving the spring mod. just a thought

I would think if you used a spent analog filter youd be sucking threw the very tar and stuff you are avoiding. As for an unused I have no idea but I like the tea bag as a filler personaly.

Hmmm. ripping a CLEAN filter might work. I'll dig around and see if anyone has an answer to that.

I'm a techie, but too new to e-cigs to know one way or da other.

im not excited about either idea just ideas like i said im lovin the spring. i was just reading a lot of posts about people wanting to vape there analog flavor. personally im really diggin the coffee, espresso, and chocolate flavors. kinda mix up a mocha

I use shredded analog filters (unsmoked for the make your own tubes so, they have never touched tobacco) tried trimming to fit but, that's too dense so, I shred it, does as well as teabags and fluval but blue foam is better.

From what I understand cigarette filters are made of cotton and fiberglass... I would think this would burn... not sure just think. I'd be careful. Fluval or fibrefill are your best bets!

Idea #1 might work, might not. With PVs, the filler material has to be permeable like a sponge in order to wick the e-juice onto the atomizer. I'm not sure how good the cellulose in analog filters would be at that. In any event, there are better ways.

Idea #2 seems like a contradiction of everything that vaping stands for.

do you think the yuck would vape through? i just thought for the first or second day vaper it would be more like analog flavor. my first juice was marb flavored. not that im promoting analogs i think they taste bad now

I don't think the residue (that's such a nicer word than yuck, even if yuck is more on the mark) would vaporize, but I suppose a molecule or two would get picked up in the airflow and wind up on your tongue. But I'm just guessing along with you. Give it a try. It's the only way either of us will ever know.

I wonder if this would work: what if you were to take a tobacco leaf, cut it into strips, then stuff it into a cart to replace the filler?

thats a good thought. i was also trying to find out if it would be worth pulling nic out of tobaco, i guess it would have to be fresh nonchemically cured leaves. there has to be options incase the fda or big tobacco get ahold of vapping~ im scared
