Would it be better to go with the 26650 Battery? Would this fit in the GGTS?

Whats the advantage of higher voltage vaping? Whats the difference between AW and IMR? Can you use 2 3.7v batteries? Which battery makes the GGTS as small as possible?

This is so confusing. Just beginning to get a handle on atomizers, cartomizers, tanks and clearomizers and now this...

I'm afraid I don't know a lot about the GGTS, but I can answer a bit of your questions.

AW is a brand of batteries. IMR is a type of high drain battery they offer.

Here's some good reading material that will clear things up: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/129569-rechargeable-batteries.html

AW IMR batteries are going to be the standard suggestion for a high voltage (or variable voltage) mod. AW Li-on's will be the standard suggestion for 3.7 volt mods, assuming you're using an 18650 battery, and opinions will vary on the smaller sizes, but most will suggest the IMR will be the safest, and produce the most output, at the expense of how long they last before a recharge.

The GGTS will not fit the large 25560 or 26500 Batteries, just about any other size can be used.

High Voltage witch is over 3.7v (1 battery) give you more and hotter vapor. If you use Low Resistance Atomizers or Cartomizers you need to stick with 3.7v. LR simulates 5v by burning hotter.
If you go HV, I would choose 2 x AW LiFePo4 to get a 6v vape. LiFePo4 batteries are very safe.

AW is a brand. They produce the best quality batteries. If you are a GG owner, you can appreciate the best there is, since GG is the best!

IMR = High Drain. They have safe chemistry. What they do is keep your voltage steady at 3.7v and then stop when you need a recharge. Li Ion batteries have a power curve that goes from high to low then cuts off. So, if you want
your first vape as good as your last, choose the IMR High Drain battery. High Drain Batteries are very good performers with Low Resistance atomizers and cartomizers.

The GGTS. To get the smallest version with out taking the top tube off, get the 18490. If you want to go smaller and take off the top tube, use a 18350.

The bottom line is enjoy!! And ask! We all love to vape!

So high voltage (6v) should be used with standard resistance and reg voltage (3.7) for low resistance? What is the difference in power duration or voltage between the 18460 vs. the 18650?

Also for the GG can you use 18500 or does it have to be 18490? Assuming you don't wanna use the telescope feature and you'd like it as small as possible without removing tubes.

if you are at 6v you need to keep a reg resistance atty real wet or you might pop it, i would look at HV atomizers (high voltage made specifically for 6v+ vaping)

i use 2 stacked tenergy cr123a 3.2v (for 6.4v total) with a HV 510 atty in a UFS and it bangs!

i also will use a low resistance 510 atty with 3.7v batteries and it is great too.

reading batteries is easy if you know how

18650 means it is 18mm in diamter, 65mm long, and 0 means it's round. that is it!

so knowing that, you can use any 18xxx battery in your ggts and it will work just fine. cause its 18mm or smaller in diameter.

many batteries 18650,18500, and on and on have different MAH ratings (milliamps per hour i think) or the amount of charge they hold so read the specs on each to get one that has a lot of MAH which will give you more life per charge.

Ok, I got my GGTS in the mail today. It was almost completely put together. I took it apart and put vaseline (just a little) on the threads. I want to us it, but I don't know which end of the 3.7 battery goes "up" (away from the button)! I feel like such a dumb broad! Any what are the tiny things in the plastic bag for? Adapters? Do I need adapters?

If it makes you feel any better...

I've always heard that the only dumb question is the one you don't ask! So ask away!

Just sayin'!

I'm not sure if I'm understanding, but... unscrew the brass cap with the hole in it. Inside is the Collector Tank. Down inside are the threads. Put your cartomizer in the threads inside there. Then add the cap back on.

Make sure you rotate your air control ring (knurled ring).

I have cartomizers. Clear dual cartos. There's nothing to screw them into!

Chim,,, Take the Brass top cap off..... Look down inside the collection tank...the 510 carto will screw down " inside " the connection .. You need to loosen the battery up so the firing pin will slide down to accept the 510, when you screw the 510 into the connection it will push the firing pin down if you loosen the battery tube up....

Hope this helps..... If not ask again.... Harley
