That is just silly.

They want to make it a min 21 product? But you can still buy the nasties at 18 there? How does that make any sense whatsoever?

Freaking NYC. No surprise there.

Nope, the ban will not allow anyone under the age of 21 to purchase tobacco products, or e-cigarettes. To keep it from falling 'into the the grabby hands of children.'

The government is not acting on reality, but instead on false science, manipulation, and deception.
George Orwell wrote a book about this awhile back.
I should probably expand on this, so as not to make this appear to be a conspiracy theory or political trend...

This has probably been going on since the dawn of man.
George Orwell just recognized this fact, and then expanded on where it might lead us one day.

And I have to say, it does seem to be heading in that direction at an accelerated pace, as technology permits.

Well, that makes a little more 'sense'. Still, stupid, but coming from a city commission that tried to ban the sale of large soda's, nothing surprises me.

Another attempted law based on emotion and feel good politics.

According to our government, you are mature enough to enlist in the military at the age of eighteen and be trusted to defend our country in under indescribable circumstances. You also have the maturity to vote for your leaders and commit to a marriage. But.....our government doesn't think that you are mature enough to have a drink...even if you've just come back from a war zone defending our country. And in many states, you can't buy a pack of cigarettes. Now, NYC wants to declare that you're not mature enough to purchase a vaping product.

Is this logical or make sense? In any way?
