It's sad there's a world that doesn't know Tim Hortons

If not for the wife's sister I'd have never heard of Tim Horton's. Gave me the coffee for a Chris as present the very first time met her. She has sadly passed but was a cool chick! Tim Horton's reminds me of her as she was so excited for me to try out the coffee. Didn't know it was a chain up there though.

Now back to the OP, I have a Provari but my local vape shops have never given me slack about it. Probably seen plenty before I would imagine, but my closest shop is staffed by cool peeps (vaping Zone). They're all most likely thankful no one is bringing in computers for repair! ;)

Almost all mods are battery tubes, we just pay extra for the various features we desire. Could be added electronics, low voltage drop, looks, material, form factor, etc.

I hear ya on that. MVP looks great on paper but unsure of that box form factor. If I could get past that box shape might try a REO, but MVP price would make the wife happier.

I hear about Tim Hortons all the time from Canadian cyclotourists. (pedal bikes eh). They say Timmy Ho's is a god send. Maybe before I get too old I will get a bit of saddle time up in the Great White North to check them out.

I have a Vmod XL. I think the MVP is around the same size. I find these box mods very pocket friendly, much more so than a tube mod. I don't know what you consider bulky, just thought I would mention it. YMMV.

Had a Reo and it was really pocket friendly. Just not pocket friendly + bicycle crash friendly. My right cheek will never be the same. Probably better than a tube in the same situation though. Ouch!

I usually wear a fanny pack when I ride. Works well for me. I've crashed a few times but never ended up on my but. That could change fast though!

So there I was, walked in with my ProVari in hand (because it's amazingly reliable and because it's a ProVari). I was there to buy juices and just browse the shelves as most people do, since I heard so many great things about their juices. But I'll get to that in a second. Anyways I'm looking and walking around and the lady who initially tried to help me before being whisked away by another shop keeper, came up to me and said "Oh nice battery holder but I think you should take a look at our mods". Then the 'provarinati' came into my head and said "Beat this woman with your all powerful ProVari!" As I clenched my fists I looked at her and kindly replied "Ma'am, I don't think you know EXACTLY what this is". Her face turned pale and the stupid look she had then faded. Now, knowing what I know now, I just popped the top off my Z-Atty Pro, pushed my fire button and showed them the "Last Man Standing" Coil. And watched as one of the guys immediately spotted the ProVari logo and the Zen~ stamp on the top cap and on the inside of my tank and he quickly pushed her off to the side and said "I see you're a builder and that's a mighty fine coil you got there, what's the Ohms on it?" And I told him what the Ohms were and how many wraps and strands I used to build it before finally asking to try some of his e-liquids.

The point of the story is - some folks just envy the beast mods. And some, just don't know what the !@#$ they're talking about - or have never seen it before. If you don't know what it is, don't pretend to know, ASK!

Other than that - their liquid selection was pretty good. They have a pretty wide selection of stuff, and for the most part I had a pretty fun albeit expensive trip. In which I got my wife to start vaping. She's not a smoker, so she picked up a bottle of 0 nicotine Strawberry - which tastes like - no joke - strawberries. They did have quite a few clone products in house, which for someone interested in that kind of thing - were priced fairly. Also noted they do have quite a bit of chargers, drip tips, tanks, coil heads, etc. Not really a place to go if you're needing mass quantities of stuff, but definitely a good range of liquids for sure. Overall a good experience. And I DID lower my nicotine levels with these new liquids so - wish me luck. I will however go there next time rocking my Semovar and Kayfun Lite+ to see maybe if that lady calls that a "battery holder" too.:vapor:

Enjoy it. You don't seem to be the type that I normally make signatures for, but this one seems to fit your perception of the "Provarinati."

Wonder why we haven't heard from the OP after 200 posts........

If I had to make a guess, I would say that this thread didn't go EXACTLY how he had planned it in his head while typing it out. Can't win'em all.

I do feel bad for the Provari crowd. It's not the devices fault that this dude has to act this way. It's the same thing in the car world. sometimes when I call a customer I can tell you exactly how the conversation is going to go, just based on the model of car I'm calling in regards to.
