I've been noticing it's hard to find a spot for my mod when I'm driving. Whenever I find a spot, I'll take a corner and it gets knocked over. What do you guys do?? Also it's been super hot in Colorado and if I don't feel comfortable leaving it in my car when going shopping or something. But also I can't put it in my pocket when I'm wearing basketball shorts?? Things I never thought of before vaping. Pack of ciggys good to go anywhere. Lol

Normally, cup holders work well to hold vapes.
If you are going to leave your vape in the car, I suggest you put a napkin or paper towel down in a cup holder, and turn your mod upside down. A little eliquid on the coils and wick may drip down through the drip tip, but your tank shouldn't leak out.

Cup holder only really work well when i have like something else in there at the same time. But otherwise it just tips over. I usually have it in my hand the whole time.

My car has a small "cup" (for change or such I guess) in the door (next to the door handle) and my mods fit perfectly in that).

Otherwise, I'll put it in my cup holder (center console), but it really depends on your car and how these things are built in yours. I guess I got lucky.

As far as leaving it in your car.. if it's hot : DON'T

If the batteries get too hot, they can vent or worse. The tank can and probably would leak due to the pressure of the liquid getting hot.

There's been quite a few incidents of mods or e-cigarettes (the old ego type) that exploded/caught fire, and the car was seriously damaged.

If you can't wear pants with a back pocket, then go against being stylish and whatever, and get a hip pouch/fanny pack (or whatever you call them).

But again.. NEVER leave a mod in a hot car in hot weather.

I think my wife would love to see me walking around Wal-Mart with a fanny pack. Haha

keep it in the ashtray with something else in there like your dash cleaning cloth to keep it upright and usually the ashtrays are down low normally out of the direct sunlight - otherwise make yourself a pouch for it and swing it around your neck - do a google search for your mod and pouch - there are many out there already

All of the above seem like good advise, if you really dont want to take it in and prefer to leave it in the car, why not see if you have a small cooler, ( everyone has a cooler?) and put it in there with a small blue pack wrapped up in a towel to absorb any condensation , doesnt need to freeze, just stay cool.

Or even those lunch bag cooler/ bags ?

I generally let mine fall over...but I'm a squonker and all my stuff is bulletproof but the can Koozie ^^^ is a great idea to prevent this. Also the little cooler/refreezable ice pack idea seems ideal to prevent overheating in the summer. If @Kprthevapr and @Bad Ninja can keep their stuff from blowing up, anyone can. They practically live on the surface of the sun.

(looks at avatar) Inside pocket of vest, everyone should wear a vest. In the car I am comfortable leaving it for an hour or so, but out of the direct sun.

I am going back to Arizona later this week, hopefully for good and the temp rarely gets to 100, I will still probably do the same and just keep it out of the sun when I go into a store, etc.

I put my mod in the cup holder, in a can coozie that I keep in there. I never, never, never leave the battery in the mod, even for a few minutes. It can get pretty hot inside a closed car here in Florida, even in winter. If I'm going to leave the mod in the car, I'll remove the battery, put it in a battery box, and put it in my pocket.

Good luck on the move. Not sure where you're moving to in AZ, but I thought it rarely got below 100 in Phoenix.

Still, I wouldn't leave my mod in the car in the summer. A car in sunlight and reach 140F. That can't be good for the battery, juice or electronics. It does create another issue if you live somewhere it's hot and humid. You know how you step outside from a cool house into the heat and you get condensation? That's happening in your mod as well, and drippy electronics is never good. For other things like cameras, I follow the "place in ziploc, bring outside, wait 15 minutes and take out" procedure to prevent condensation forming (temp equalizes, no more fog), but until this post I never thought of that in relation to a mod. Anyone living in the humid heat (looking at you Floridians) ever consider or do anything special about that or am I just overthinking this?

As temp in cars in the sun can reach 100C/212F under the worse scenarios (75C/167F under "normal"), which is a bad temp for batteries, I will go against all those that say to leave it in car, I still say that leaving it is a bad thing.

The "using a small cooler things"... at these temp. unless it's a powered one with external vents for heat exchange, those things would only "work" for a couple of minutes more... plus between having to drag icepacks, etc. that would be involved...and wouldn't work for much time unless you get a very well insulated one..

I stick to the get something to carry it with you advise.

Switch from pocket-less shorts to jean shorts, or other that have pockets... if you have a wife/girlfriend, have her put it in her purse (upright to prevent leakage if possible).

This is where mine goes too.
I think that cup is there to provide a finger grip for closing the door but it works just as well for spare change and mods!

And I never leave my mod in the car, regardless of weather. I feel nekkid without it.

I own a provari and had a piece of wood milled out to fit my mod plus a unicorn bottle... it looks nice sitting on my table inside the house as well as fits in the cup holder of the car. Here is the link:

Texas Mesquite E Cigarette Holder, Ecig stand for 510 style Vapor cigarette holder, Solid mesquite wood, Office, man cave or home hol

Just message her and tell her the diameter of the holes you need drilled - her husband will make it, and it's cheap.

If you have a mod there are people who make mod stands that fit in the cup holder of your car, I think it's jwraps who does, but cannot remember.

As far as taking your device with you, my husband uses a holder (for pepper spray, police issue) that he runs through his belt (it has a loop for a belt) and the provari fits perfectly, and because it has a snap flap over the top, it doesn't fall out no matter what he does.

Me? When I can't leave it in the car I use an eye glass case and put it in my purse..
