Finally got the battery off. I charged it for about an hour.. However the pen wont light up when i press it 5 times.. However it would light up when its in the charger or to tell me its dead.

Did it tell you it was charged when you took it off? What make and model is the battery? A link would be good if possible
Its a regular nautilus mini 5 clicks fast did not get a response. Is it possible it needs to be fully charged before it starts up again? It would click on yesterday but today is no dice.
How many times did you try the 5 click thing. Sometimes you just have to keep trying...like 6 fast clicks or 7 or 8. Sometimes they just get lost in the click count. if there is a minimal charge it should turn on. If it is totally discharged, it won't turn on.
The nautilus mini is what screws onto the battery. What is the battery? Basically, the more information you give us, the more we can help
As Grimwald said, if it has a partial charge it will turn on. However, if the charger is not charging the batt, it could still be completely discharged which is why I asked of it had told you it was fully charged.
