Im getting a solid input on pin two but no output

If you have your switch on the maine power You need to remove the resistor on pin 1

That resistor is shutting off the regulator until you Put a voltage on pin 1

Otherwise put a switch on pin 1 to positive

Also ensure you are using the center pin and one outside pin on the pot.

holy sh%tballs you were right..why is there a 10k resistor there on denas walkthriough

Resistor should only be there if your going to use the control pin with a NO switch. Instead of having the switch on the input pin wire it would be on a positive wire going to pin 1 ( control pin) . The 10k resistor pulls the pin to ground putting it in standby mode. When the switch is pressed a positive goes to the pin taking out of standby or turning it on. Main reason to use the control pin would be to use small tactile switches that cant handle vaping amps. The bad thing about using the control pin is the regulator uses current while idle not very much but it adds up over time.
