Just wanted to check in and say that I've had my 3.7 bottom feeder for about a month and it's been rock solid. I'm very pleased with my purchase. This is the first mod I've bought, and I couldn't be any happier.

My 3.7v bottom feeder OldGoat was also my first bottom feeder mod. Previous to that, all I had was my first ever PV, which was a Screwdriver I got from the original designer - Trogg. All that other site does -tw- is just sell them from him. It is a 3.7v mod from a flashlight and worked alright. Actually, it got me off a 40 year smoking habit, so I do have much loyalty to that PV, tho I hardly use it now. But there is absolutely no comparison when compard to my OG. Can't really count in my Buzz since it is a variable voltage pv and in a total different class.
Between my OldGoat and my Buzz and a few adapters, I'm good to go on all fronts. I love it.

Got my mod yesterday. Am blinging it now and will post pics later. Vapes like a champ...still have problem with leakage but not the mods fault....gotta figure out a better technique. My other one had a bath last night and is hanging to dry now. Even with the leakage I have, it still far exceeds the other mods I have for convenience and I make them ALL leak so I can't factor that in at all. Thank you Ron for the replacement battery door and for providing an affordable bottom feeder for us. At this point, I don't know that I will ever try a "high end" bottom feeder as these suit me fine.

LOL you didn't ask for help but that's not going to stop me!

Always set them straight up. A bottom feeder on its side will leak more. If it has juice on the outside of the mod, you are over juicing for sure... meaning the mod isn't leaking, you are flooding it. If you have juice on the inside, it could be from over juicing or a leak at one of the connection points. High VG juice doesn't leak as much as PG juice. I've put absorbent cotton gauze into a leaky bottom feeder before

None of the mods I've gotten from old goat have leaked <knock on wood!>

LOL ShannonS, glad you didn't wait to be asked! I have asked for input on this in earlier posts. The juice leak is always inside the mod and I can't seem to find the zone. I've tested the bottle connection to the modded top by plugging the needle opening with my finger and squeezing hard on the bottle and have no leak under pressure..only when it is in use. The juice definately comes down the needle from the atty. Even when I am very careful and paying strict attention to my technique trying to troubleshoot this I get leakage. The overflow is wet but has no liquid standing after I squeeze to fill the atty. My juice range is 50/50 or 70/30 PG/VG mix. Mine is straight up on a lanyard around my neck during the day so that isn't the issue either. Any suggestions are welcome! I've considered gluing around the needle to affix it permanently but am afraid to mess up the mods operation. I can deal with a little leaking....I can't deal with my OGM being broken!

Just did a little experiment with a old bottom feeder I have that has a tendency to leak from the needle back down to the outside of the bottle based on an idea that popped into my head while reading your last post.

I held the mod upside down while pressing the bottle and applying a bit of air pressure by inhaling. About a 1 second "squeeze and suck" while inverted. This is with a 306 LR atty and drip tip. I've been doing this for about an hour and a previously damp bottle has stayed pretty dry. No juice in my mouth either.

I'm going to try storing it upside down as well and see if that keeps juice from running from the atty back down into the mod. Think a coffee cup with work?

Afternoon.My solution was to cut a very small piece of soft flexible tubing and slip it over the needle before inserting it in the hole.Big enough to compress but not to big.I also put a little piece of paper towel by the red wire.I find that my leakage is usually around the time the battery's getting low.Thats when I tend to over feed.My old goat goes to work in my shirt pocket every day.Don't want the guys to think I'm lactating LOL.All in all I love my OG.It's just the right size and weight for my usage.I'm definitely going to be ordering another.

I have used extremely small O-rings from the hardware store and slipped it over the needle to make the fit a little tighter on some of my mods that have had a seepage issue, same as Drottwiler is doing with the plastic tubing.

I haven't found a sure fire way to stop every mod from having a little seeping yet...but always trying to improve.

Thanks Ron, I will look into small o rings also. Thanks also Drottwiler, I like it and I can remove the decals and do something different very easily later if I want.

Ron, I will save my atomizers for you but have only had 2 fail in 10 months so don't hold your breath! 1 I broke dropping my mod on cement and the other I dry burned too aggressively and it popped. I've been really lucky (knocking on wood) with atties I guess as that is almost all I use. I do have a couple of dead cartomizers-will those help you?
