Techie? A Darwin may be in your future. Nhaler - they are difficult to find in stock but an excellent mod. ProVari is also excellent. You may want to check out the "pictures of your set up" thread to see some of the photos of great tech mods.

Welcome back and hope you find a PV to suit your tastes.

Hi Hi Hi! I am an old member and have returned once again to the Vaping world. ...

I'll say. You don't see too many Members with Start Dates from 2008.

Welcome Back.

How much Money are you looking to spend? I would suggest you go with a Variable Voltage PV.

Tee hee hee oh yes...started on this site "way back when" The mods were just starting and they looked like screwdrivers and the darwin...well, kinda looks like a zip zapper that I remember we were talking about many moons ago that had a decent battery pack that you recharged. So, last year when I checked in it was the darwin and still the darwin I see and it is still pricey as it was then...gezzzz...

I hear you about what the Old Mods looked like.

For a High End VV Mod I would suggest you check out the Provari. ProVape E-Cigarettes: Buy Electronic Cigarettes & Smokeless Cigarettes

Rock Solid and built to last. But Spendy to some.

For a Lower End VV Mod, Perhaps a Lavatube would be a Good Call. Buy Lava Tube | Get Lava Tubes | Find LavaTubes Carry Case and Accessories

Note: If you decide to get a Lavatube, make sure you get AW IMR batteries for it. Some kits have come with Cheap No-Name Batteries which should be Avoided.

For Mods to stay away from you might check out this thread...

Another vendor with really good VV products is notcigs. I've got their original Infinity, Buzz Pro, and the new VVPV top-feeder. They don't have the techie LCDs, but are excellent performing, durable, VV units. Their standard coupon code (7.5% off, I believe) is "ECF Buzzkill" (2 words). I run though about 6.5 ml of eliquid at 4.5V/8W on the tube mods between battery swaps.

Thanks everyone I will look into it tonight and make a purchase all sounds awesome. My biggest prob is that I bought hundreds of dollars of ecigs, I want one that does the job and is durable and has a longer life than 3 months...before I hate the batteries and atomizers (I guess that is what you call them) are burnt out and need replacing. I would like to return to all vap no icky stinky nasty smokes. I went a year without them vaping before and would like to return to the vaping world with a device that I can count on.

As a tech guy myself... I got the Lavatube (read variable volt tube mod of various names). This thing is a bargain. I got 4 IMRs for this thing and have been very happy since the beginning of January. If you know how to take care of your tech, you're fine. I know many folks have had issues but I haven't had a problem besides the silkscreening rubbing off.

Just a thought for ya... I've used a pro-vari and a darwin at a meet. This is good enough for what I want and the price allowed me to get batts and a good charger.

I really like the user replaceable batteries. Sorry if you're an Apple guy who believes in sealed batts.

Naturally this advice is worth the price of admission. (Wondering if I'll get flamed for this)

agreed to a point. If not durable and reliable I start looking for a stupid lighter to light a sinky icky smoke...

No I know.

I've got a Drawer full of Cheap PV's and Cheesy Mods. I wish I had Gone for a Quality Mod First instead of taking a bunch of 1/2 steps.

So the battery that comes with the kit isn't good? they say you can only use their battery and others are bad. Esplain Lucy...

a drawer! hahaha...I had a shoe box full. And most were over $50 a piece...the best at the time now spent. I am ready to invest again. At the cost of analogs...a few different models to have fun with that are decent...they will be paid off in no time if I am not analogging it. What would be the best cig mini model too. I know mods are the way to go but I would like one that resembles a analog.
