I realize it's still a little early for this, but as November is upon us and some are already planning their holiday displays, here's a Facebook page some of you might enjoy:

Old-School Christmas Lights

I started this page a couple of years ago and it's been gaining subscribers slowly but steadily ever since. It warms my heart (pun intended) to know that so many share my love of the classic incandescent Christmas lighting that, sadly, seems to be slowly fading into history.

I still have a string of da ol' bubbler 'candles' we used when I was kid. Luv da look, but hated trying to stabilize 'em upright in da tree!

Bubble lights can be a bit fiddly but they're neat. I just added four sets to my collection.
