My pleasure :)

Hmmm.. I must be doing something wrong with my 5vs then. I find that my plain old PV's or my 3.7's give me just as much (if not more) satisfaction as the 5's. I think it's the juice.

It's my (hmm.. can't think of the word today.. hunch? idea?) that it's just as much the 'juice' as it is the equipment. I can put the same juice in different PV's with various attys or cartos and receive better results on the lower voltage units as the higher (depending on what I put in them).

In my regular PV's I use my homemade Vanilla concoction. In my 3.7's I use a friend's homemade recipe.

Have you tried fiddling with the ingredients in your juice? To adjust the TH and viscosity and flavor?

My closest 'match' to a real cigarette feeling; is a homemade juice I've made with homemade vanilla. The vanilla is made with beans from Madagascar and vodka. Then it's strained several times (have not killed an atty yet *knockonwood*) and then mixed with some other drops, a bit of menthol, PG nic, and a fair amount of VG. It takes a lot more of the vanilla (as to drop ratio) so I need to either harvest my own beans :D or start importing some in, because my vanilla bottle is getting low and it takes about six months to 'mature' the vanilla extract. I could try the store bought version, but then it would be lacking the vodka, and may loose some of the great homemade taste. Hmmm.

Anyway.. just a thought

I have no issues with taste or vapor out of 3.7v (usually), it's the "punch" I can't get with 3.7v short of vaping 48mg nicquid.

However, I have found my TV AC works better at 3.7v, but that's another reason I'd like to try a HV atty :)

Sorry, trying to get this posted before the internet kicks out so if this was mentioned, sorry for repeating it.

I use denture cleaner to clean mine, when I do clean them, lol I use 1-2 tablets, depending on how many attys I'm cleaning. I put in just enough water to cover them, let them soak over night and rinse in the morning. Blow them out and let them lay on a towel to dry.

stupid internet! :(
When you clean them, do you just do it because you think they *need* to be cleaned? Or is it when they start to taste bad? I have been blowing mine out a couple times a week and then continue using them, and then when they randomly just start tasting bad is when I attempt to clean them out. Seems the nasty taste never goes away once it comes no matter what I try. Although, I haven't tried denture tablets, that would require me purchasing something. lol! My mom uses Crest Pro Health toothpaste... but I was afraid to try that one, I don't want them to taste like mint either! Yuck! I hate mint! lol

When they first start to taste bad I try something else first. I take either some unflavored nic or some PG/VG and put a few drops on the atty and just hit it without inhaling. I usually do that a couple of times. If that doesn't work then I will try one of my stronger flavored juices that I wouldn't mind having a dedicated atty for. If that doesn't work, I break out the Polident, lol I am a avid fan of not cleaning except as a last resort, but that is just my opinion. Over the last year I've lost maybe 10 attys total between my 510 and my 901 since I quit cleaning them. In the beginning I cleaned them all the time like I was told and I was going thru attys like crazy. Quit cleaning them and have far fewer attys go south on me.

Also, if you have a manual battery you could try 1-2 second dry burns a couple of times to see if it burns of the nasty taste. That has worked for me.

Blaze: what about adding some PGA? I think that may be some of the kick you are missing.

Jules: is there a special kind of polident? Or will generic work?

I have to agree with Jules on the cleaning. I try not to clean mine if I can avoid it. If I do, I try a little hot water and lemon juice first. Then let them air dry. I did get the Crest (it's the mouthwash, not toothpaste) and tried the whole procedure, when I had a bunch of 801 attys that turned. It cleaned about 1/3, choked about 1/3, and did nothing to the last 1/3.

The BEST thing I find to do; is watch the attys, try and not let them get too dry, and be wary of the thick dark juices (esp all VG)... those are real atty killers.

I didn't think of that, and I've even got a 30ml bottle of Everclear just for that LOL ;)

On a side note, I did try one of my old L88B "Blu" attys (I know, I know....but I was bored.....and DESPERATE) and it does surprisingly very well at 6v, just have to drip every 2 hits :)

Yeppers, that's what they say! I use my blu (also sold under Volcano and as Joye 306) with my Ego batt. Very nice combo too, but as you say... it's drip, drip, drip :p
