Old vg

Is vegetable glycerine that is 5-10 years old still safe to vape with? Does it taste funny if you use it for DIY? Thanks

I wouldnt touch it as the longest "expiry date" I have seen on PG/VG is about 4 years. VG isnt that expensive.

I recently found a full 500ml bottle of PG that expired a year ago. I will only use it in my cigar humidors (I still love my Cubans and don't inhale).

I doubt it would make you sick or taste completely terrible, but again, why chance it?

dont know ... I always use mine up with in a year... its cheap enuf if you live in the US... toss the old stuff and get a couple of bottles from Walmart ( once again a US thing)

Same in Canada. MAYBE $15 a litre if you buy it at the pharmacy or Walmart.

No idea. The litre bottles I buy don't usually last beyond three months Lol.

Is this in connection to stockpiling in preparation for the TPD?

VG won't will be affected by the new regulations. Pure VG is used in home made beauty products... cough medicine... cake making (royal icing)... etc.
