Okay, I'm putting a halt to this because it's absurd, ridiculous and pointless. There is and has always been four flavors used for this recipe. The primary "waffle" base is from a well known vendor and we have noticed a HUGE inconsistency with this flavor and it seems to be getting weaker and weaker.
So when a flavor vendor decides to start cutting corners by making a flavor weaker, the only thing that is within our control is finding another vendor for that flavor that is of equal or BETTER flavor. This is one flavor has been a big thorn in our .... as everybody on this forum is screaming for old waffle flavor and blaming Tasty Vapor for the inconsistencies. Enough. Only thing we can do on our end is write to the vendor and tell them to stop being so damned cheap and bring back the old flavor base so we can stop taking the heat for their cheapness!
We're waiting for Linda to either match or beat this vendor for this particular flavor. She did it with her Dark Chocolate, I'm sure she can do it with Waffles.
So, at this point, the only thing we CAN do is improve on the recipe, since the base flavor for what you're calling the "old recipe" is apparently no longer available to even US. What is no longer extended to us, can not in turn be extended to you, so this "old waffle" business will have to stop.
This is a flavor that we'll have to work on. So, if you don't have a problem with the current waffle flavor, cool, but all this screaming for "old waffle" flavor, is all pretty pointless.
