Actually feral cats are the best exterminator of vermin you could ask for... If it moves, cats go after it!! A local place, "Planned Pethood", will spay/neuter and give shots, FOR FREE to feral cats, if you can just catch them and bring them in... We got our kitty spayed and her shots there, for just $35 for the whole thing... They're awesome!!!

OK, that statement made me grin! So glad to have ya back!!

Ever since that night I have made a point of trying to not get upset about things that I can't change. I try to put my efforts into dealing with the things that I can. I'm not perfect at it, but life is sure more pleasant and enjoyable when I can concentrate my energy on actually doing things instead of getting upset.

Wish I had learned that when I was 17! But, noooooo...

Love your attitude! Yep, you're smart to save your energies for things you really can change. I am in awe of you though, given what you've had to deal with this winter. I'm sending calm, happy thoughts your way!

Activity here on the back porch comes and goes. Depends on who's up and about, and not doing other things.

We're having a teaser of spring, so I've been outside in the yard most of the day. Another dose of winter forecast for the weekend - but at least we've been a lot nicer than most of the country this season!
