Everyone but Keith Richards. He just had a birthday 4 days ago, how old is he now 97?

When you have a Dr on payroll, a private chef at home and on tour, a Dad that lived to 84 that you snorted his ashes when he died, the constitution of an Elephant, a complete blood replacement (I know it's a rumor, but I know a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy ;) ) .. as they say, Armageddon Comes, you've got Keif and Cockroaches running the Planet .. and let's not forget his Partner Ginger Baker ..

I do think he's cut back on the eye liner, though ..

We were in a store the other day, which one does not really matter, but these two ladies had a child with that was quite unruly. While the child was running around recklessly it bumped into a display. The display held, but the child fell back on his backside - the ladies got quite upset at the store about the child getting injured by the store display - at least 3 higher level employees had to come out, take an official accident report and apologize over and over again... They left after this and the child, who was not injured noticeably was still running recklessly around the store all the way to the exit.

When they were taking the report they asked the child where they were injured - the child looked at I assume his mother and then looked down to his left side and then his right side and finally pointed to his left side (he hit his right side - seen by another customer standing right by the display he bumped into)... grrrrrrrr

Now what. I'm sure it's a scam. I got a call this morning at 7am the recording said this is the IRS consider this your final notice. Call 202-470-6020 immediately we have been trying to contact you. The call came frin 921-563-3661. I checked with Senior services and they said what I though, if the IRS wanted to get a hold of you they would send something in the mail.

I heard about this scam. Haven't gotten a call yet, but have had other scammers call here. I always ask to speak to their manager - that's when they hang up. It's one of the reasons we don't answer our land line. For awhile I had a recording on our answering machine saying you have reached _________, if you're selling something or want money for any reason, hang up now, otherwise leave your name and number and I'll get back to you.

Feeling better, thank you. Had two small hot toddies last night and slept like a baby sans diaper!

Deb beat me to it. Especially now with a 12 day old newborn, the first thing I thought of was sleeping like a baby is not such a good thing. How about slept like a cat? They can sleep anywhere for hours, and do, and always look so darn comfortable! Aside from all that, I sure am glad you're feeling better.

Uh huh. And the store will probably be hearing from their lawyer tomorrow. Seems like that's the way it happens these days. Funny though, a lady writing to me from England once said she found it odd that if a child there bumped into a store display the parents would be responsible for paying for anything that broke. In the U.S. the parents would rush the kid to the ER and then sue the store. And that was how she saw it several years ago. Not much has changed!

England has solicitors and barristers. If I'm not mistaken, solicitors handle routine legal matters and barristers argue before the court. There are lots of solicitors but a limited number of barristers. You have to have a barrister to sue. To become a barrister an opening has to occur (i.e. an older one has to retire or die). Therefor there aren't near as many lawyers to be involved as there are here and the liability laws aren't as bad. Plus English law is very different than American law.
