Na, I am a vendor at dog shows (I do leather work and make leads and stuff for show dogs. Left computers and went to the dogs, literally!). I also show my dogs. One of my saddest is I lost my heart dog at the ripe old age of 14yrs, 7 mos, 4 days Dec 10. Christmas just isn't the same. But he lived a long, healthy life and passed at home, with no help from me, with me at his side. He is home again, in a beautiful box, with a leather tooling I did of him when I thought I would loose him last August. But PURPLE is the points in dog shows!! Purple is GRAND!!!

hope it comes out right side up... Purple is GREAT, but sadness this Christmas.

Edit: my avatar is Tasha, CH Sky Acres USS Stargazer, RA. She is still with me and we are sad girlies together, but doing much better now. We are a team!

Aww, I'm sorry! It's so hard to lose a pet. I always get so emotionally invested in them.

First of all....Bwhare, I'm so sorry for your loss, especially at this time of year. BIG HUG to you and your mother and your family.

Merry Christmas all!! I finally made it home after roughly 11 days out on job location. One of our best bosses ever cut us loose super early, and now I can rest a bit. GEEZ!! You good folks can talk!! LOL...... That's a good thing, though, and even though it took me a while to catch up, it was well worth it.

Bware, your loss is much greater than mine. I am an orphan at this point. I know loosing a parent is a special kind of loss. My condolences to you and your family. Have a safe trip and hug your mother.

Merry Christmas to all. Safe journey to those who will be traveling to share celebrations. I will be back tonight.

Ho Ho Ho

Happy Holidays from Gary N' Kat

Nice looking family gary and a good job on the holiday web page.

First off, I don't post often. I generally sit in the background and glean what I can from what everyone else has experienced. It's just the way I am. Basically, I've never been a "joiner".

I can recall, a couple of years ago, asking when my taste would return. Janet and others told me to be patient and it would all come back. Well, in that rare instance, she was wrong - but it didn't matter. I learned to just go with my binary taste senses and accept that some things were alright and the rest just plain sucked. I graduated to DIY simply because there wasn't any point in buying stuff that I couldn't taste. Admittedly, I'm somewhat jealous of those that can actually differentiate between flavors but I'm never going to be one of them - so I muddle on in my own manner, dealing with vaping in the only way left to me. Regardless of the fact that I can't taste anything, I'm a diehard vaper....

This has nothing to do with what I'm posting about but there are so many new folk around now that I thought I'd reintroduce myself (although, those that have been here forever have long forgotten that I was ever here to begin with...)

I just wanted to toss in my own favorite Christmas song and thought I'd wait until everyone else was finished....

It's been a bad couple of days. My dad died yesterday and I have a thousand mile drive ahead of me the day after Christmas, just to be with Mom for a bit, so I'm feeling sorry for myself in a way - but I do love the song.......

My heart felt condolences bwhare on your loss. It's always tough loosing a parent and when it happens close to a holiday it seems to make it harder. Prayers and best wishes to you and your Mom.

And thanks for that video post - never heard that one.

Oh wow I lost my 14.5 yr old Pomeranian x Oscar on the 18th of December and still so sad. His ashes are coming home to on the 29th of December. I can totally feel your loss. RIP to your precious Best friend x

Sorry Dyanne - Janet and I still reminisce about the pets we've had that have passed on. They each touched us in a different way with their personalities. They're all missed.
