I wanted to stop in for a minute to say Merry Christmas one last time. I have the bread maker loaded up and doing its thing. Making Cloverleaf rolls. Gotta run in and grab a shower before getting into anything else. I hope each and every one of y'all are having a beautiful day even if it is just being able to take a day of rest. :)

Good Christmas morning to all. Slept in and then opened what Santa left. I got some new shirts and a Galaxy Tab 4. Love the tablet. Now I can see all your posts without squinting and having to zoom in. Everyone enjoy the day.
BWhare, Sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayer go out to you .

Ya know? I just got the Vamo yesterday. Adding parts or pieces to try to make it work just annoys the h*ll out of me! I put in for a return. Not gonna deal with it. Shouldn't have to be fiddling with it already. I'm .......

ETA: and my POS, year old, $5 ego batteries are still going strong. What's wrong with this picture?

Yup, that being the case - i.e. brand new - you did get a defective unit. Bummer, but it does happen.

One thing to "repair" a device after long use - and good info to stash in the memory bank for possible later use, though :)

Absolutely! If I'd had it a while, it would be different. Being brand new, the more I thought about it, the madder I got. Of course it does seem to be a common issue with the Vamo, I may get something else instead, just to avoid the problem. Wish I had known before I ordered it. I was aware of threads going bad and hoped the V5 would have addressed that issue. But looks like it's just not a good item, all way around. Think I'd be better off with something else, but I'm limited to finances. :(

Yeah, but dey chickened out when dey heard it was you!

sorry, thought I'd quoted it. Took me all this time to remember, but it was clnire I think saying that she'd told someone to send her a copy of a diskette, and they sent her a photocopy of it. Does that mean da Army is afraid of me???? <flexes muscles> lol

From us'n's to all o' yoose' n's.

Ho Ho Ho

Happy Holidays from Gary N' Kat

that was so neat! Wish the photo of you and Kat was bigger

It's been a bad couple of days. My dad died yesterday and I have a thousand mile drive ahead of me the day after Christmas, just to be with Mom for a bit, so I'm feeling sorry for myself in a way - but I do love the song.......

I'm so sorry (((((((((((((BWhare)))))))))))) be very careful driving. Glad you're not leaving today. And of course we remember you, ya silly thing!

Does it have Dolby Home Theater or something similar? Mine did the same thing & I figured out that when I used it & then tried to go to You Tube, the sound didn't work. I have to turn off the Dolby to use YT. It's not part of the computer sound set up, it's separate, but uses the computers speakers.

Newp, but that is interesting to know. I had one with dolby sound once, and I do have some really great speakers that I used for it still, but I think maybe we didn't have youtube when I got that puter. lol But Willie fixed it for me. So great to be able to hear again! My own mini Christmas miracle hehehe Hey, I'm countin it! lol

First of all....Bwhare, I'm so sorry for your loss, especially at this time of year. BIG HUG to you and your mother and your family.

Merry Christmas all!! I finally made it home after roughly 11 days out on job location. One of our best bosses ever cut us loose super early, and now I can rest a bit. GEEZ!! You good folks can talk!! LOL...... That's a good thing, though, and even though it took me a while to catch up, it was well worth it.

Well, then you are the lucky one in this case... :D

so glad you're home and popped in. That was a nice thing for him to do!

Very glad you're returning it!! I can't see trying to fix something that is brand new!

Hope everyone is havin a wonderful Christmas! I got some Miami Dolphin slippers!! My nephew got one of the Galaxy tablets too. It's small but it's nice. My son is supposed to come over sometime later today with his wife and daughter for a bit.

I had an issue with my Vamo about 3 months after I bought it. The different sections are out of alignment from it getting tipped over to many times - I quit using it since it is electronical and I did not want to have a problem. It works fine, but ... I was mainly using it to test higher settings to see what happened to my juice flavors as I made changes. I have tried to straighten it back out, but am afraid of breaking it in half...

I had a cheap, Liberty Flights, version that I used constantly for about 6 months. Loved it! Finally quit working after being dropped an untold number of times. Then immediately started having issues with the Zmax, which is why I ordered the Vamo. I'm so disappointed. Don't know what's with the Zmax, all my tanks/juice burns my throat like it's up high. It's not and it's not reading as though it is. Not a clue.

Y'know, when it comes to packing, I can do my camera gear in an instant, my computer pair that have to go with me is easy enough, clothing, even when I have to pack formal wear that I didn't realize I had, is fairly simple.

Vaping gear is far harder. The last time I went into the north country, was far harder. In the fall, I'd planned on being there for almost a month. Two months later, I was struggling to find a place in Canada that would actually send me anything with nic involved. I lucked out, but this time, I'm trying to pack for an indeterminate period of time. It'll all come together and work out.

Thank you all for your good wishes and sympathy. Today is packing day and it's time to get serious. My car is ready (full set of snow tires), most of me is ready and the only thing I have left to do is make sure my vaping supplies will suffice.

Oh, and just in case you thought I wasn't serious:

I may not post much, but I have read every single post in the thread (starting from the original) so I know everyone even if you don't know me.......

For the record, I still can't taste a thing beyond "good" or "bad".

Oh man Bwhare, I don't envy you that drive at all. You aren't driving by yourself are you? Jup vaping stuff is always hard to pack if you don't do it very often. Hope you can check in and let us know you made it ok.

My neighbor couldn't taste or smell anything either, and she never smoked a day in her life. My tastebuds aren't too snappy either. I can taste flavors of course, but in vaping I never get all the nuances everyone else does. I taste things differently than my SIL when she tries my juice. If I eat a lemony something, I was it super lemony, and my neighbors lemon meringue pies were always sooooooooooo good. My son loved em, and she'd bake us one occasionally. He'd get my meringue, but the lemon was awesome! She'd always add more since she couldn't really taste it much.

Please be careful driving and let us know if you run out of juice. I'd be glad to send you some home brew! :vapor:

Might not be a bad idea to take some higher nic juice...sometimes it helps in stressful situations.

Finished our Christmas Dinner. Cranked up the music and getting ready for a Christmas movie after the dishes are done. I am still an Old Fashioned Holiday Person. KISS is my motto for enjoyment.

No Christmas Pie this year - I have been sneaking to many other things so we decided not to have one.

I know I am always talking about desserts and stuff and I do have a weakness for certain ones, but I have lost 40+ lbs over the last 4 - 5 years - did not do a diet - did a lifestyle change in my eating habits. I still enjoy a slice of pie, a cookie, and maybe the right kind of fudge, but do not really touch candy, sodas, etc. Balanced it so that when I do eat a treat - that is just what it is - a treat.

Still looking for Patches house though... :D You cannot hide forever...
