But....... someday I would like to try pluid. just to say I did. Haven't wanted to try it bad enough to buy a bottle, but I am strangely intrigued by it. I love licorice.

Deb - Happy New Year, PM me your mailing addy and I'll send you some well steeped Pluid. You do know it' not purple - right?

And when I say well steeped, I mean it. I forgot about it, 'till I read your post. It was from some of the early batches when 1/2 of ECF was trying to get some. I think I only used about 1/2 a bottle of it. Way too strong for me. But it sure did wake up my mouth. I can even throw in another 1/2 bottle of Agent Orange as a bonus.

WELL... q%$@^%$*%$

OK people, are you ready for some more wonderful news? Our daughter met a special guy about 1-1/2 years ago and they've hit it off. It's been 7 years since she lost her husband so we've all been waiting for her to be able to move on. We think Brian is very special and it's obvious that he and his family loves Kate. This Christmas his parents gave them a trip to Switzerland with other family members. They're staying in the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen with skiing down the mountain right to the front door. Today she sent us this photo.

We are thrilled!!! Geeze, a grand baby and an engagement!! That's 2 - could the lottery be next?????

Late to this, I've been on the Front Porch, & finally decided to switch rockers for a bit! That is so awesome Janet! How much more wonderful can life be than right at this perfect day?

I love those times when my son, a challenge as a child, does things that make me so proud I almost cry. What did I do right? No clue, but something. I think of other mothers with trouble kids and realize how lucky I am.

Oh what porch am I on? Well, he knows I vape and is proud of me for finally finding my way off of smoking.

Fireworks going off right and left. It's 11:30pm so I guess there'll be no sleeping for a while anyway. Big boom a little while ago, scared the hell out of the hound. She is now under covers and right up against me. Every time a boom goes off she jerks. Poor baby. Rubbing her belly and telling her that daddy will protect her.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

My sister's English Bulldog got scared by the fireworks over July 4th & now he won't go out at night by himself. She has to leave a light on in the den, & the back porch light on so he'll use the doggie door & not wake her up. He's now afraid of the dark! And plastic bags, & anything you flap, like bags, jackets, papertowels....and my cane. Lucky for me, sister wasn't around when I taught him that one.

Figured i would drag the conversation over here cause I don't know all the forum rules and don't want to start nothing in my first week of posting.....:p.
hey you found the grapevine forum ... good for you, have a seat

and never worked on a cruise ship I'd be comfortable sailing on.... construction standards for those are WAY below what we built for the Navy!
I didn't know about that, .. but you couldn't get my hubby on a cruise ship because in his opinion, they are there strictly to give you food poisoning

Sorry to intrude.
WHO's the intruder ??? WHERE ????

I'm sure we can all offer up some projects for you to practice with ... let me think about this a while.

Funny, .. I had a dog once that was in the back yard while the neighbors next door where having a birthday party for their little girl.
We also had a 8 ft hedge, so he couldn't see what was going on.
A balloon floated over the top and landed on his head, (since he obviously wasn't looking up), he would never, ever, ever go in the back yard again .. you couldn't drag him out there ... good thing we had a fenced front yard too.

I see these pictures (some of my rotating wallpaper), and I think of him and laugh ...especially the one of trying to get him through the door

Happy New Year everybody!! Geez, you all ARE a prolific bunch, but that's okay. In fact, it's marvelous! Congratulations to the new Grandma. Congratulations to the couple getting married. Lots of great things going on here for the New Year.

I think I had the quietest New Years Eve ever last night. I was working in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, and there were no fireworks on the port end.......all that oil and gas equipment, you know. The port hummed as usual all night long. It's a place that never sleeps.....that's the oil and gas industry. 365 days a week. 24/7.

I'm back down at my usual base at Grand Isle, Louisiana. It's quiet here tonight too. All the birds were inspected before supper and nothing was broken, so we're all sitting around watching tv or (like me) surfing the internet. It's so quiet, it's almost scary. I almost can't keep up with you guys now. If it gets busy down here, y'all may not see me around for a bit. You just never know around here. It's either feast of famine, but it pays the bills.

Well, sorry I am late with the New Year but well, it is what it is. I hope everyone had a wonderful time and I hope the year just keeps on getting better and better. If this year goes as fast as last year. . . I better start looking for my July 4th avatar.

Hubby finally gave me something for Christmas this year. I would have preferred jewelry. Been sick with the flu or something since Christmas night. Not running fever anymore but I cannot seem to shake the cough and feeling bad. Oh well, not really complaining. This is the first time I've been sick since I started vaping over a year and half ago.

But I know ya'll must have enjoyed the rest from me.

...
Those things are really cool, but what are you going print with it?
amoung all the useful things and art... I was thinking a nice PV would be fun to try

I think he's going to be 3D printing cases for DNA-12000 boards...

But I see they're well past their goal!
Not much into box mods. Maybe a nice pipe. As for the goal... At less than $500, you can still get in until the 9th. May be they can reach a new stretch goal...
...
I'm sure we can all offer up some projects for you to practice with ... let me think about this awhile...
Shoot. Go to you tube, do a search on:
3D Print
Then sort so it just shows the last month. 9,000 ideas right there. Yeah. I got 9,000 videos just for the month of December.

Thanks Iffy! That is my almost 8 yr old Belgian Tervuren Tasha. Ch Sky Acres USS Stargazer, RA. She is a sweetheart and totally awsome dog. I had another Terv, my heart dog Spock, mega titled breed champion and performance Maplerun's Trouble with Tribbles, lpst him on Dec 10 to just plain old age. At 14 yr, 7 mo he beamed up to that great Rainbow Starship in the sky peacefully at home with me by his side. He always did things in style.

Hi all! Haven't caught up but wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

My gall bladder decided to kick my ..... for a few days, so I haven't been around, but it finally gave up yesterday so I was able to have a little champagne last night.

Best wishes to everyone!

Debbie

I had stomach surgery and the doctor said right before I'm just going to remove the gall bladder most people that have this have problems and you don't need it any way. So no gall bladder.

Our dog heard the first one on NYE and slept on the pillow right next to my wife she said she didn't get much sleep, dog breath in her face all night.
