It is the intent involved. Burial of remains implies belief in the doctrine of resurrection of the dead, which is present in most Christian religions. Scattering of ashes implies a denial of the afterlife.
I told my family to burn me in a barrel behind the house and flush the ashes

What about printing ... you're still doing that, aren't you?
Just bits and bobs... I added a vape holder to my boxes for a couple of odd-shaped PVs, and I'm working on an extension shelf for my mouse to sit on, but nothing earth shattering.
Pretty sure thatz against da rules.
Sorry.
which is why I haven't posted here... nothing to really say with all that other stuff.
I would REALLY like to be retired. :)

Well, the rains finally reached us today, but I do believe we received the diluted version, which really didn't hurt my feelings. It did get a little stuffy this morning around 5 am when we lost power. Still, I count my blessings because north Louisiana got slammed! I DO feel so bad for those folks.

It's just been slower than molasses in January down here because nobody has flown in the last two days.

I did get a visit last night from my boss and HIS new boss. Heh heh....his new boss is a woman. :w00t: The long and short of it was that they like the job I've been doing, so that's a good thing. And the beat goes on.........
Last number I saw (and we have had more rain since) Lulus area got 20+ inches and we were well over 16 inches

not really playing catchup... I don't think I've read anything on the back porch in about a month now.
Just been working and sleeping lately
It's good to see you! Hope you'll post more. Heck most of us don't have a lot to say, but that don't stop us from sayin it!!

These rains are gonna have fantastic results! The next 3 weeks should be gorgeous in Texas! Fields of the most beautiful shade of blue...sigh....
Jup, can't wait!! Gonna have to take my son to work one day, keep his car, and go on a bluebonnet drive!!

Oooo look. An Iffy FIFY! :D
I really wish you'd come in the hangout again.......you crack me up!

I told my son if the law would ever allow it to just stuff me in a hefty bag and set me out to the curb. I respect what others believe, but I believe upon resurrection that we'll have a new body, one that's incorruptible. I don't want this one back!

oh my word, that's insane! Glad y'all are ok, and hope lulu still is!!

I often thank the people I see in military uniforms. Especially the Viet Nam vets. The American citizens took out their anger towards the government out on the Viet Nam vets. It was a terrible thing to watch.
Jup, they were treated horribly! Unfortunately it didn't end there. My son and couple of his buddies were in uniform in 2005 in Monterey, CA, walking past a school yard where the kids were out for recess. The teacher hissed "baby killers" at them. so sad that some still have that mentality. Nothing like what the Viet Nam vets had to endure, but still very sad.

I think our Reonauts are starting another one up as we speak. I think Scott has that for action.
yep, but just a thread, not a forum.

i'm inquiring into how much it will cost to keep the entire forum going, independent of Rob's financial contribution.

there've been a few Reonauts who've said they'd support $x/mo to keep it open, and i have been known to be fairly generous in the past. no idea if it's even feasible yet, tho

Dennis, whatcha doing awake. I just got back up. Been trying to sleep for a couple of hours and it just wasn't working. Teach me to take a nap in the afternoon. No matter how tired I am it just flat throws me off! :-x
damn. i wish i could teach you to nap! for me, it just seems to happen, or not.

i just asked my doc if she had anything better than trazadone (which my prev doc prescribed) and she said not for anyone my age. so, i'm guessing my sleep patterns will remain in disneyland
