I'm not a theologian; nor am I a philosopher.
Well, I'm a preacher's son, and ummm, well I did take a philosophy class once, 20 something years ago. Is that close enough? And I say, based on my theolosophy:
"sin thinks, therefore it is"
Prolly only makes sense to a Theolosophy Major.

I don't know. Is joking about putting nails on one's feet so close to Good Friday better off ignored?

 Hmmmmmm.... errr... well... yeah, probably.

I can't take credit for that one, though... :)

I kinda have a name story, too. I'm named after my Dad. He did not want to name a son after himself & have him end up with the inevitable nickname of Junior. So when the first child was a girl they named me Kenna after my Dad, who was Kenneth. He went by Ken & they called me Kenny. Years later when Dad's salesmen would call for him they'd try to call him Kenny to be all friendly. The phone always got handed to me per Dad because he had already told them not to call him that, to call him Ken. I would always have a little conversation with them along the lines of "Oh. You want my Dad. Hey, he told you he doesn't like to be called Kenny didn't he? No Sir he doesn't. He says men shouldn't have names like that. It's ok for little boys or girls but not grown men. You shouldn't forget that, he really doesn't like it. You're welcome. No Sir, I won't tell him. Hold on, I'll get him for you.". Love my Dad still.
I wondered how you came to be named Kenna. Neat! I, too, love my Dad still. Took until I was nearly 30 for us to make our peace, but we did. If ever someone is looking for an addition to Christian apologetics, that's one!

What a cute story! I did probably laugh a little too hard at that one, though! ;)

A couple of months ago, Kaz was sitting on a thread, lamenting the necessity of growing up. I figured he was afraid that we might reject him if he would try to enter our domain, so I invited him to join us. He has been a welcome member ever since. Keeps him busy whenever things are going well at work. Then he leaves us on weekends. :(
