A couple of months ago, Kaz was sitting on a thread, lamenting the necessity of growing up. I figured he was afraid that we might reject him if he would try to enter our domain, so I invited him to join us. He has been a welcome member ever since. Keeps him busy whenever things are going well at work. Then he leaves us on weekends. :(

I disappear on the weekends as well. I have the little one in the Avatar and a loving wife. I take time and care with them and they take care of me.

:) And I shall be ever grateful for your invitation, Dearest! I am so happy that you asked me to come over here, and I've made some very good new friends... no, let me rephrase that. I've met some wonderful, long-lost family here! :) Sorry 'bout da weekends though... :(

Nah, I stay offline during the weekends and spend my free time with my wife. We're making the most of the time we have together and I do my best to try and take care of her. I can't remember if you've heard the story or not... she was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer a coupla years ago and is still going through treatment.

Oh and another answer to @LittleBird 's question again, about a year ago I was lurking around the site for more answers to vaping questions. Then absorbed the knowledge and made great friends in the process. Hope too do the same here. I love a tight knit thread.

I also like long vapes on the beach, to vape at night with a cup of coffee and watch lightning bugs, to laugh out loud, and to just be me in this cra-cra world. I can do it here without judgement. I absolutely love that.

I really never spent much time around my Uncle David except for a couple of NJ-Ohio mutual short visits when I was a kid, and at family reunions, which are fairly infrequent. I guess my favorite story is about when he played golf horribly but still beat me badly. That happened, I think, at the same 1997 reunion where my little brother recorded these videos of my Dad, my Aunt Mary and my Uncle David talking about their lives growing up on a farm in Dayton OH. I am very moved by what my Dad says at 4:00.

Absolutely love this, Bells! I could listen to stories like this for days on end. If I was around when my grandparents or anyone was telling about their experiences like this I'd just sit sit down & listen & take it all in. Then spend weeks going over it again in my mind. They always sparked my imagination tremedously! Thank you for sharing this!

I went to school in Boston. We used to sing that song on the platform while waiting for the T - much to the chagrin of the other passengers

.. I lived in the suburbs of Boston ( Randolph) for much of my childhood. I loved it when we went to the dentist ( my Dad was in the service and that was the closest location) cuz we would drive past the Hershey Chocolate factory:D

Wow Dave, your video was wonderful! I wonder how many more have now thought of doing the very same thing after watching this!

I don't know. Is joking about putting nails on one's feet so close to Good Friday better off ignored?

Hmmmm.. I put nails on my fingers cuz they won't grow ( my nails that is) but I never thought to try them on my toes.

They "say" it only works with nickel, but you might try making a coil with titanium. My Target mod is set for nickel, but it works fine with titanium. The only difference is that the coefficients are set for nickel. Therefore, you have to set the temp a bit lower than what you really want (I mostly go by feel and start around 325°F). I found that I get a much more satisfying vape with Ti than with Ni200... but that may just be me. Might be worth giving it a shot though.
I don't have any titanium. The only reason I have nickel is 2Legs (Patrick) was nice enough to send m e some a while back. The nickel coils I'm talking about are the ones that came with one of my tanks. The Innokin Sub A tank I think. Like I said been a while since I messed with it. Really don't want to order a roll of titanium just to try it so I'll wait until I get moved and maybe by then I'll be able to order some premade coils just to try. I'm really liking this Sub A tank. Using a .5 ohm kanthal coil in it. Works great on my Isticks and the battery on the Istick TC40W lasts a full day for me, approximately anyway, depends on how much vaping I do during the day. If I'm busy I vape a lot less than if I'm just sitting around. It was the same way when I was smoking. If my hands and mind were occupied then I didn't smoke near as much, unless people were shooting at me, then I smoked like a freight train! They don't do that anymore so that issue has been resolved.

Sorry. I caught that error, but did not edit it as a challenge to my OCD. Nails in a person's feet.
