Not having any control over the situation is the hardest part. He's prolly (finally) in the right place, though. Just sad that it took bein in the wrong place to get him there. I hope the support group provides tons of support! {{{{3mg}}}}

Yup. She never quit, just refused, despite a thick file. Complicated story, you know some of the background. Preferential status for the preferred, and all that.

Given my situation, I couldn't do anything.

Hi Ellen!! Glad you came here. You're not at all interrupting, we often have a few topics going on at the same time! This is just a place to hang out and relax. We have some in their 40's here and some in their 70's, don't think anyone is in their 80's yet lol

3mg, my grandson is an Aspie. Haven't seen him in about 6 years amd no hope for the future. My son and his mother divorced when he was about 3 and she is a psycho. I really hirts to hear the way the grandson talks to his father. One minute he wantts to talk, the next he hates his father and never wants to hear from him again. My son just keeps paying his child support and trying, but it is very difficult.

not evening anymore, but good morning to you and all the other porchers..life is normal, except that my first Great Grandson arrived Saturday evening..not sure about his name though, Oliver Castle, came in at 8lbs-12ounces and 21 1/2".
