Well I'm halfway there. Stopped for the night near the GA/SC line. This is where Doree and I stop almost every time we drive down to Florida. Best Western with a Denny's attached. Also get a free breakfast at Denny's.

AND we will get the seller to refund the shipping costs to your CC." , then to turn around and say, "Claim denied" and imply that I was the "sucker" for going ahead and "finalizing" the transaction (which you'll see later and I have to admit, I do bear SOME responsibility, BUT...) without even mentioning , "You may simply return the item as "Not As Advertised" and receive a full refund on that purchase."
From what I've read (and thank you ALL for your interest and support!!!) THIS IS completely out of the ordinary and NOT the norm for Amazon. I honestly don't know why things went this way in this case and would prefer NOT to close my Amazon acct. After all, with our location and the benefits of most on line shopping, it's a no brainer. Once you get a bad taste in your mouth, though..............

There's no such thing as a free lunch though and I think that's what twists my "Underoos" the most. I was ok with getting charged "a little" shipping on the ENTIRE order. (Which is what I originally believed) $32 for a box that size to Alaska is actually fairly reasonable. But to get charged $32 for a 1/2 oz. package as small as that one was is COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Ya, LIS, this seems to be an anomaly. Just as a point of interest, you'd be surprised how many of "their" items come from China (and most of what we buy off the shelves right here in the good ol' USA). It was also mentioned earlier that "It came "all the way from CHINA"." Well, it turns out that Anchorage Alaska is "The Crossroads of the World and MOST of what gets to the Western US from Eastern Europe & Russia & China, comes through Anchorage first. (Check a globe for reference). Now, I can't see Russia from my kitchen window (har, har) but both Russia and China are nearly as close to us as Seattle, Wa.!!!
