Thank you, Mike! It really has been EASY!!! Most of the time we both actually vape MUCH LESS than we sucked on the stinkies. Sure there are days when I'm more like a HOOVER vacuum on the Subvod but there's ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in "the stinks" since DAY ONE!
Worked the same with me. Started vaping and never looked back. :thumb:

Also get a free breakfast at Denny's.:)

Back in my steel tip dart 'competition' days (actually nights), we'd hit Denny's on da way home fer their chicken fried steak wid extra gravy and a couple o' over easy boneless fowls on da crispy hash brown taters!

My, where has time gone? I definitely know where da pounds went!

Just checked on "the kids" (the seeds we sowed last Sunday). They're doin' GREAT! We've already got Peas, Brussels's Sprouts, Red Leaf Lettuce, Roamine & Radishes pokin' their little noggins up! Sugar Snap Peas, Asparagus & Walla Walla Onions yet to come! How exciting!

Fantastic! Congratulations! I quit with my first vape too. Over 3 years ago and never looked back. Some struggle, some of us are just lucky. You will feel better and better.
I'm sure glad for you and glad for us too! We are feeling better and better every day (Except when it's time to do yard work ha, ha!).

Yepper, I'm almost wondering if vaping won't become just a "part time thing" in the relatively near future, Hmmmmmm??????????

OBTW, da Tiki house is in a mixed working class and retiree neighborhood. In fact, my mid daughter and her family lives two houses to da south.

As far as da noise abatement ords here, it is what it is. Anyone wanting ear wax meltin' party decibels, hit a night club...

Oh, when was da last time someone here started a lawn mower in their den? Note: I didn't mention Harleys... had a bud do dat... once. His bride got da house in da settlement!

Oh my, Walla Wallas! When someone tells ya'll dat you can eat 'em like apples, believe 'em, and me.

VV, do ya'll have wild asparagus up yonder? While stationed in Idaho, my bud and I would grab a 12 pak and go 'hunting' fer 'em. That's also where I was introduced to WWOs.

Sadly no. I have been told that if we can get them established, that they "should" take hold and come back year after year though. Here's hoping! We LOVE Asparagus & it's ding danged expensive in the stores (up here anyway, canned OR fresh).

Congrats on hitting the 60-day mark. Your sense of smell and taste will continue to improve the more time goes by.

We used to 'scour' da Idaho creeks and irrigation feeders. And yes, once established, dey produce fer years.

Our 'eureka' was white spears (shaded, almost no direct sunlight). Have to admit, we ate most of dose on site; very few got home!

Kinda wonderin' if your sub-freeze temps last too long. I'll have to Google dat some time; not tonight...

Have only caught up through page 578 but here goes.

You are close to ME, then.

On an unrelated note, a couple of days ago, my email got in undated with 237 notices that I was mentioned in posts.
I guess there was a clog, and last week's efforts opened the floodgates. They were up to a year ago!
oh that is too funny. I'm sure not to you when you got all of em! I pm'd you, sure hope we can get together when we get back from the odyssey, before I have to fly out.

Glad you made it safely, Doodlebug! Y'all have FUN down there! :D
Thanks darlin!! Been having a blast so far!! Got to go jump into the Atlantic and roll around in the waves, felt like a Sea Lion just being carried around by the waves! I'll never forget it!! Have now been in the Gulf (a lot) the Pacific once, and the Atlantic once. What a lucky girl I am!!

Was soooooooooo thrilled to see your news that the insurance approved the new chemo meds!!! yay!!!

I hope everyone has a great time in Florida. OK, I admit I am a bit of a geek. I have always liked Star Wars ever since it first came out. Another thing I like is Legos. So it was only natural that I started combining the two. I have a nice collection of Star Wars Lego kits. I am talking the kits that have 500+ pieces. These kits usually come with a couple of the small figures in them. Over the course of collecting and putting these together, I have come up with quite a few extra figures. Today I sat down and using a clock kit from Hobby Lobby, I put together a Star Wars Lego clock. The nice thing about it is I can always swap out the figures when I want to have a different looking clock.

Hugs to Susan!
You too! Hugs back to you. Hope I can give you and kenna her hugs in person one day!! My hugs too!

Deb, glad you arrived safely! My van is going back to the Dr (mechanic) tomorrow. It's running very rough. Sigh.
Thanks hun, so sorry bout the van!!

So...it looks like I might pop in on Wednesday.
yay!!!

Well I guess I know where I am going to be in December. My Grandaughter sent me this today.
Wahooooooooo that's fantastic!!!! Congratulations Great Grand daddy!!!

Our son flew in tonight so he stopped by the apt on the way here. Their place isn't too bad, but the bedroom ceiling has to be replaced. The upstairs apt though looks trashed. Their bedroom ceiling came down. There's wet insulation hanging everywhere. Luckily they tarped their furniture pretty well, but anything on the floor is wet because the new carpet is soaked. What a mess! Anyway, DIL, Miles and our son are going home tomorrow. This house is a mess, but we'll have all day tomorrow to clean up and get packed. Boy am I looking forward to vegging out by the pool!!!
Glad it wasn't worse, but sorry they're having to deal with that!

What an awesome treat almost the first thing in Fl. for me...the actual first thing will be you and Deb.
I can't wait!!! Less than 48 hours!!!

I have a lot to get caught up on. I have been finishing a Lego model that I started quite a while ago and I have been working on finishing it. The model is the Slave 1 and had 1,996 pieces. There was a total of 13 separate bags of pieces. Now I just have to see where I will put this one with my other models. I think it is time to do some rearranging in my bedroom. Oh well, as my mom would say, it keeps me out of the pool hall.

Some years back, on one of my trips to the Phoenix area, took my dad to a grocery store.

Spotted a display of 'em and waled over to just compare prices there and here.

Well, it's time for din-din but I wanted to say that is a REALLY KEWL Lego Model Diver!

I'm a scale model buff myself, mostly 1/24th. show rods, but a few "real life" ships and planes too and a little RC stuff (not much of that, $$$ ;)). Great job on the "Slave 1"!!!

I'll check back later. The thing about being so far West is that you'll all probably be in bed by then. Except Debadoo of course! ("I'm too excited to sleep!")

I also posted the clock to my FB account and my son commented that his wife wants one for Christmas. My son brings the boys down the last week in July, I will show him how I made it and he can make one for her. It might sound selfish but I am not giving any of the extra Lego figures to him. I will let him pick them up at the Lego store.
