I would like to try this sometime......but not enough to make one. Have never seen it at a restaurant, or knew anyone that made em. Then again, strawberry pie uncooked, seems like a much better thing to do with the strawberries. Or strawberry shortcake!

now waiting patiently for dave to post his strawberry shortsnake pic again. hehehe

I actually thought strawberry rhubarb pie was an Amish dessert or just generally to be found in the east, kinda like scrapple or tomato pie.

There might be something to that idea of it being Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch.....My German Grandmother used to make it...and...once they got to the USA....she was never out of Montana or Wyoming...;)

Anyone buy a printer recently in the $100 price range that they're happy with.

I'm not help.......last two printers I bought, all in one types, were HP and I was so very happy with them! The last one was probably around 1997 or so. Was still working great when I put it in storage 3.5 years ago. But I hear from several that they're not good ones now.

That Yo Yo Ma piece reminded me of one of the most beautiful dance performances......
Wow, that was gorgeous! That ripple she did with her arms after the huge wing move was amazing.

Last time I went I got a pomegranate that I'm going to eat one of these days.
Love pomegranate seeds! You may know already, but when you cut it up, spoon the seeds into a bowl of water. The pithy stuff will float and an be scooped out, leaving only the seeds.

There really are a few good people out there......Dog was barking his fool head off, looked out my back door and there were two men clearing off the snow on the landing and ramp I have, down to the parking lot !!!! Told me that even their little snow blower couldn't do anything with all the hard packed snow in front. Said it's the same way all over, but.....they promised to dig out my front door tomorrow so I can get mail delivered....
Does the heart good!

Printer? I got one of these a bit over a year ago. Got Wifi? It is wireless and no problems. I even got a free app and print from my Kindle Fire to it, which Amazon says cannot be done.
If you want higher res color printing get the HP 4520. I have another HP I paid like $40 for 10 years ago and it still works fine.
Wife went thru 3 Epsons in 10 years ...

I don't know about that stuff. When I was growing up in Kansas and Nebraska, it was just rhubarb pie. It was only when I moved to the southwest that I ran into strawberry rhubarb. I kind of think I could do without the strawberry.
