I'm Ellen, sorry for disrupting the conversation, but am delighted that there are some other ah..mature people vaping. I live on an island in Australia and don't know anyone else that uses a vaporiser, so I'm just happy to be here.

First off, a warm and hearty porch welcome to the 'flip' side of our orb! Island + Australia = a dream <sigh...>

... off the smokes for 9 weeks. I'm still in shock, been smoking since I was a kid. And was a chain smoker the last 15 years.

Thanks for the welcome! I don't know that I could diy. The laws here are rigid about importing only for 3 months personal use. So customs might dock it if they thought I was getting into production. Western Australia has outlawed it altogether. Crazy, isn't it? I only order pre made. Always spend twice as much on shipping than the cost of liquid. I've got it pretty well sorted now, just stay well stocked because the shortest ship time is 5 days. Still I'm saving 450$ a fortnight. Pretty huge, that. I lived in Pgh and DC until 2003. It is living the dream a bit.

I think the Australian population may increase substantially if either Billary or The Donald get elected. Got any work there for a 59 year old graphic artist/handyman? I understand that in order to emigrate to Australia you have to have a needed skill. I got skills. At least that's how it was when I was a kid.

Howdy Gracie. Love ya girl. HO tonight maybe? I watch the "Thus Old House Hour" (PBS) on Thursday's from 8 to 9 but other than that I'm free. Probably stop in around 7 for an hour.

Right now he is in a jail that has a psych hospital. YEAY! Here they did nothing but allow him to get socialized to the criminal subculture. Once they get him stabilized and go through the legal process, he will go to a regular psych facility. I once told a police officer in town that my son needs a specialized treatment program for the combination of problems. So finally the judge and a psychologist recommended that I send him to his father. I did not know at the time why but followed through.
But my daughter put some money on his account so he will have enough to send me letters. Although his handwriting is real bad, I can puzzle through it. Maybe they will give him access to a word processor.
Last night I was in such a mood that I laid down to take a nap, hoping I would be better when I woke up. I slept all night on my loveseat. My back hurts.
I just joined a facebook support group for parents of Aspies.

You can only buy for 3 months personal use. So, how do they know how much you use in 3 months? Oh, right, they've already decided that. It would only be 3 months use at a time though right so you could place an order today and then again a week from now? That still leaves you stuck with paying additional shipping.

Maybe you could buy the higher nic strength and then order the same flavor in 0 nic and dilute? Would that work out to be cheaper for you? Might not save you much, but it might be worth a look at the prices. Can you get PG and VG and some flavors? You could buy the higher nic and make your own 0 nic juice to dilute it? Just random thoughts about getting around this unfair law.

I used to do a lot of work at Sea Arama Marineworld in Galveston and worked with the gulf coast marine mammal stranding network. Studied dolphins, whales and sea lions for years.

And we have a couple of Texans that we are not quite sure about also...

I knew ya missed it!!!! Wondered how long it would take you were beginnin to worry me.......thought the PI had mellowed ya out too much!!

Might not save you much, but it might be worth a look at the prices. Can you get PG and VG and some flavors? You could buy the higher nic and make your own 0 nic juice to dilute it? Just random thoughts about getting around this unfair law.

That is what quite a few people do to cut cost also...

@Vape? Similar to what Janet and others said...... I vape mostly fruity stuff, so I always had apple to mix with em sometimes just for something different. it was kind of a neutral that went with just about any fruit. If you could order 24 mg juice.....some pg and vg and a couple flavorings that would compliment the flavors you vape, like apple, or cream or something like that, we could help you figure out how much flavoring and pg/vg to add to the 24 mg juice to make 4 times that much juice. I think you said you vape 6 mg right?

I do do that, dilute it. And I think it saves me a fair bit. But the shipping wouldn't be any cheaper if someone sent it privately. But if you're ever coming to au... I use a menthol base and add various flavours . Like the coffee and caramel type occasionally, and I buy a lot of mint. I was reading that someone added a sweetening liquid, that'd be good. But haven't seen it anywhere, except for one and it was fruit based, not big on the fruit. Is that easily bought there?
That is the sweetest looking dog up there! So to buy 20$usd worth of liquid ,the cheapest shipping charge is about 35 or 40$. My brother sent me two bags of egg noodles and it cost him 27.00. He's a good man. and yes, I dilute to 4 or 6.
