"Bob, I'm sorry. I've been riddled with guilt and I have to confess: I have been helping myself to your wife when you're not around, probably more than you. I know it's no excuse but I don't get it at home. I can't live with the guilt any longer. I hope you'll accept my sincerest apology. It won't happen again."
Feeling outrage and betrayed, Bob grabs his gun, goes into the bedroom, and without a word, shoots his wife.

Moments later the guy gets a second text: "Really should use spell check! That should be "wifi"."

Johnny .. Regardless of the pokes and swipes I tend to make at times, cloaked in my personal tiny bit of sarcasm .. .. first and foremost, I believe each of us must maintain an ability to laugh at ourselves .. if I can somehow, sometimes contribute in a small way to the general frivolity which sometimes, IMO, gets Lost in Translation between Fleas, Subway Bread and Pizza, then I am more than happy to do so, especially at my own expense .. ..

low and slow on this Fine Friday, with a chill in the air and Fall beginning to arrive in full swing .. it will be time for my Annual Winery Tour soon and this evening, it looks like I will need to drag in the outdoor deck plants that just won't make it very well if temps drop tonight like predictions are predicting,

let me toss out a few for the fine, fine young ladies on the thread ..

Winery Tour? Sounds interesting, delicious, & fun. Will you share your adventure & the wines? You always take great pics. One of the first posts of yours that I read was a trip you were taking. That was shortly after finding The Porches a year ago this month. I recall pics & a story of a house you'd passed many times. I really enjoyed that post. I must have, since I remember it so well. Please share, Willie!

speaking of wine......bought myself a box of cabernet yesterday........the spigot won't work.....

An inexpensive wine may turn out to be a very expensive single glass.....as the only way I'm going to be able to drink it is stab the thing with a knife over the sink to catch all the excess......

Kenna, the Annual Tour will essentially be the same this year as it has in the past, so a recap of what I recapped last October would just be a, er, recap of a recap .. however, if something new crops up, I'll do an update of the recap .. I end up in Hermann, MO which is pretty much in the Missouri River bottoms, which, if your timing is just right, is absolutely spectacular when the leaves turn .. my only beef the last few years, though, is all of the Wineries now expect some sort of stipend for even a tasting .. oh well, what can you do .. ??

That was a 2 second rendition but yeah, tried animated gifs there before. On the other hand, if they did allow them I can't imagine being able to stare at this page without going blind!
