Had a wonderful lunch with Iffy and Mrs. Iffy dockside.

What a rewarding and entertaining lunch it t'was!

Susan, on da way home, Patty said, "What an enjoyable outing!" She was apprehensive (aka uncomfortable) 'bout meeting new folk. But, I do think she's more than ready now fer an Odyssey encounter, thanx to you and your dearests.

I'll spare ya'll recounting some of my short comings re da food ordering logistics

, but must say...

If anyone ever has an opportunity to met up with a porcher, DO IT; all parties involved will relish da occasion!
Don't let personal doubts cloud da reason we're here and what we have to share. It's priceless!

Since she got a new PT tech that is 'hands on' and working on her balance, she's doing things I haven't seen her do in over two years. Thursday a week ago, she walked at least 30 feet without her walker. She'll always need her walker, BUT what a diff with the right tech!

Keena, thanx for asking!

Yep, but it's either a dud, or the latest software update has made it so that the wireless connection doesn't show in the DJI Go app on my Nexus 7 II, which is supposed to be a fully supported device.

Sorry to hear that one didn't work out fer ya. At least ya took your own advice on buying from a company that backs up their products!

What's Plan B?

Plan A, here in the wee hours, is back in effect! Got the Phantom 3 Advanced woiking right (I think!).

Test flight once there's daylight will confirm my success or dash my giddiness.

Several things were throwing me off, the most important of which was that unlike anything else I've ever used, the wireless connection for the video does not get activated manually. I kept looking for the address to connect to and it wasn't there. But I also wasn't getting any live view or any ability to use the camera. I even did a better job than usual of writing down the steps that worked... after the fact. Usually, when I finally accomplish what to me is a complicated procedure, I make most of the same mistakes all over again on my next attempt, but I done writ 'em down in a Phantom

If she walked 30 w/o her walker, she can get to a point where all she needs is a cane to keep her from veering off course. My back makes me wobble to the right, the only reason I use a cane is to push me back the right way. Every few steps I wobble right so I poke the ground & push myself back over. Otherwise i'm going a different direction. I don't use it for support unless standing for awhile & then l'll use it to lean on. Like leaning on a wall. If I could walk faster I wouldn't wobble. But if I walk faster, I can't walk far. Completely weird, & getting started on getting it fixed.
