Mornin Butch! Not really sure. My son and DIL will be going to Austin to have a noon-ish meal with some of her family, but DIL had mentioned maybe having something here in the evening and inviting my SIL and nephew. I haven't been able to cook a Thanksgiving supper for a few years now, and it was always my most favorite thing to cook. Of course, now, it wouldn't be near the spread I used to do, but if we can, I'd like to invite a few soldiers from post that have no family nearby. Will have to run that past my DIL, I know my son would be on board with it.

Of course I was trying to be goofy, but the inviting soldier is a wonderful idea. Not an option for us though the closest military post is over 100 miles away. We will be helping with a Veterans dinner this weekend though.

However I really wouldn't be upset if we did have what was pictured in my last post for TD.

'No regrets' for Aussie granny over 'nudie run' - CNN.com

Gotta love the free spirits. :D

That was so funny! Especially loved the part about her kids!

Oh lookie the silly purple kitty finally FOUND the back porch. Can I have a cushion back here too?

Yay! So glad you didn't get lost.

Since she got a new PT tech that is 'hands on' and working on her balance, she's doing things I haven't seen her do in over two years. Thursday a week ago, she walked at least 30 feet without her walker. She'll always need her walker, BUT what a diff with the right tech!

Keena, thanx for asking!

Wow, that's wonderful! Yep, some PT techs just have a better understanding of what's going on and what to do about it. Problem is trying to find the right one. Looks like you did! That's great that you both were able to meet up with Susan.

It's a rainy day here, but that's ok. We did some leisurely shopping yesterday and ended up at the Lobster House for a wonderful dinner. We got dessert to bring home and will have it after our chili dinner tonight. Or maybe we'll have it for breakfast today...

Just wanted to let y'all know that it's Flamingo Tutu's birthday. She only goes on the front porch, so we're giving her bday wishes there. And it is vape related......we treasure each birthday and hopefully will have many more of them than we might have were we still smoking! so there! :p
