I have a female friend (girlfriend has too many connotations) that has 1 leg missing and we were staggering out of a bar one night across the parking lot when her leg fell off. Interesting evening to say the least.:w00t:
I just hate it when that happens

Matt ... Nice ... a must save to my pic file .. I've always been a sucker for a Woman in Uniform

... were you serious about WW .. ?? I have a good friend that serves on the Board in St Louis and I've helped them out with a few events over the years ... they do try and stay with Iraq / Afghan vets that were boots on the ground and disabled mentally or physically, but if you like, I can give him a call ..
I don't know, let me think about it. Thanks though.

Sorry for the venting but, I guess I gotta sometimes. I've always been the one who says let's go I'll help, is Saturday ok? Now, where are all those people when I need help. Disappointing to say the least.:-x:?:
Sure hope you can find someone to help, and don't you dare feel ashamed to ask or like you don't deserve it. If WW can't/won't, I do really like the idea of the boy scouts or some other civic groups. Some churches also have folk that can help even if it's not one you attend and since y'all are moving they won't expect you to attend. Maybe even call the local High School, if they have a JROTC program, some of those kids need things like this either to help with JROTC promotions and certainly if any of them are thinking about one of the military academies.

hehehehe y'all are confusing me :lol::lol:

I saw Matts post quoted on the front porch. Just clicked and went to it to answer. Was wondering why my post didn't show up over there. Now I know :lol:
sometimes we like to play hide and go sneak with posts! hehehe

Well I'm getting too far down in my sockets and they are too loose at the bottom. My stumps have shrunk which they just do so they have to make new inner liners that squeeze my stumps a little more and tighten things up or perhaps make new sockets and put these ankles on these. You can only tighten them up so much with socks and I'm at 6 plies right now but they aren't fitting tight enough. Just one of those things. They scan your stumps load it into a computer and the computer makes a new mold to put the carbon fiber around and fiberglass then cover them with spandex of your choice color wise, I usually get something wild and laminate it on. How that just to have good lookin legs.
This is fascinating. I'm so glad that you freely discuss this. I don't mean anything bad or negative, but I had wondered when you said toes. I hate this happened to you but am so thankful you have really good legs!

But the points when to his brother!!! First weekend out, a major under his belt (a "major" is a win worth 3 or more points, the most available being 5 points. you need 2 "majors" for your championship, and total 15 points.
wahoooooooooo to Geordi's brother too!! So glad they both did so well. Geordi will get his points I'm sure. First time out is fantastic! what's his brother's name?

Happily vaping my vodka and water diluted juice - ahhhh. Lots of vapor, if not flavor. And my stomach will be able to stand a bit of dinner. Thanks to the Back Porch
So glad you got something to work for tonite, but definitely get some lower nic juice to mix with it tomorrow. Some do, but I really don't like the idea of vaping vodka. You are doing so wonderful and with your determination you'll continue to do great!!! So happy for you!!

Today was my birthday
yur posed to tell us before it's over!! lol

I throw lefttover anything "soupable" in a freezer bag & stick it in the freezer,
I do the same thing.

Just did my second NiFe coil if it works as good as the first I may just change over. This stuff is so easy to work with. Maybe even easier then Kanthal.
so does kanthal have iron in it? Maybe vaping iron would be a good thing, but that just sounds odd to me

Today was my birthday and I spent it doing absolutely nothing. Sheer bliss. All three of my children called to offer birthday greetings. Yesterday, the three grandkids brought me a frosted pumpkin spice cupcake with a candle on it and sang happy birthday. (Not on my diet, but everybody needs a song on their birthday.) I took a bite and let them finish it. They were happy, so was I. I did drive to Publix to pick up some prepared food for dinner (not cooking). With this birthday I'm sorta feelin' like I did when I walked over the bridge in Brownies and became a full-fledged Girl Scout. It's as if I have crossed some imaginary line into old age...the beginning of it, anyways. BTW, that's not a bad thing. I'm honored to have reached senior status.

When I was nineteen, my eighty year old psychiatrist heard the story of my life. I asked him, "So what do you think? Am I salvageable?" He said, "Statistically speaking, you should be dead."

So here I am, defying statistics.

Why not show the whole thing. ;)
A commentary on what alcohol does to women.
I hate the early dark that winter brings, and that may be some of my problem.
In Louisiana? Come to Wisconsin. I am addicted to the Alaskan reality TV shows. Gets me feeling better about Wisconsin.

Happy birthday, Susan!!

Thanks again guys (and gals). Sure is nice to know I have folks that really care. Really can't wait till April so I can hand out a few big hugs. {{{{everyone}}}}

Matt, here's my 20 cents worth(inflation ya know)...

CALL them!! They're there to help WW's in whatever situation necessary as Kenna said. If it'd make you feel better, while they're there doing the "grunt work", offer them a cold drink or something!

and I'll be in line for one of them hugs:)

BTW... good morning porchers! Hope all of you have a great day!!

I know it was yesterday, but :bday::banana::bday::banana: Susan!

wahoooooooooo to Geordi's brother too!! So glad they both did so well. Geordi will get his points I'm sure. First time out is fantastic! what's his brother's name?

His name is Khan, Bijou Luisant Khan's Kenetic Klarity. It's funny, because when hubby and I were talking about names (I already picked out Geordi), he said "Since this is the "K" litter, what about Khan?" I said "Geordi is not a Khan, the other boy is for sure!" Then they named him Khan without knowing this!

Note to @Liz W - glad you got yourself fixed up with your juice. As already stated, it is a learning process, and you will evolve with your vaping. Just know we are here to help!

@MattB101 - don't be ashamed to ask for help! Everyone needs a little help sometimes.
