A quick update on my grandson, Mason...

He does NOT have a detached retina. The specialists have diagnosed stage 2 COAT'S DISEASE. He'll have to return to Miami every two months for quite a while. He has no pain and can continue his normal 10 year old activities; except for one week after each treatment.

Fortunately it was detected early which leads to a cautious positive prognosis. This is the best of a bad situation.

Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for your prayers and/or positive vibes! Y'all are truly priceless...

Thanx to sonicbomb...

Looks like my coil pile after my brain juices get flowing.

Sorry for the long bout of silence... I'm getting fired up... tonights political debate is kicking in, and I think (or I hope) that 'The Bern' will lay some political smackdown on his opposition. I pray every day for 'The Bern' - that success follows him wherever he goes.

GOOD LAWD THAT'S A LOT OF READING! Where have I been you ask? Plotting... plotting ways to take over the world!!!!

Well the old vixen vapers closeout on the provari. As I said before, they overcharged me $5 on the extended base. And... they gave it back. So... really really good company. They got my vote!

I was impressed too ... the morning after the sale they called me all appologetic that they only had Polished SS in inventory even though I ordered a Satin finish. Left a voice msg on my phone, that they would hold a Polished one for me if that was OK instead and I should call them back. I thought they handled the goof-up well (and yes I accepted the Polished SS, Janet just put a wrap on it anyway).
Vixen Vapors is great by me as well. I got only 5 of the 8 bargain Provaris that I ordered but their customer service was simply remarkable in getting the appropriate refunds straightened out.

Ask bigbells what he thinks of them. Last I heard he was going to send his back. The RX200 that is.
Decided not to send it back... more laziness than anything else, but it works great in power mode so I'm hoping maybe a future software update will fix the problem it has with SS coils.

I understand the Pope is selling indulgences again. :thumb:

Doesn't work that way. :p

I know they sell a lot larger quantities though. Like 55gallon drums.
55 gallon drums of indulgences, right? (Sorry, couldn't resist applying Patrick's post incorrectly.) Maybe my sarcasm won't get me in as much trouble this time, but I never know.

Think I found Patrick's reject pile...

I am very glad it was diagnosed this early! From reading about it, it could have been much worse. Prayers and big hugs to you all, and a smooch on the cheek for grandson!

Just tried something off the wall for me because of all the flavourless mixes I been reading about. A small batch 40VG/60PG mix with a 4mg nic content, no flavour added. Its not bad at all.

I don't think I will ever do away with flavourings completely but this is surprisingly satisfying. Like a dry Martini :)

So at stage 2 they've caught it early? Thank God! Wow, the things that come out of no where. At least with hereditary stuff you know what to look out for, but the other stuff just slams it.s way into your life. Prayers, Iffy!

Patrick, Santa Clause came today.
awwwwwww so kewl. How nice of legs to do that for ya! Can't wait to hear what you think of it. Do hope you saw his post about % or else you'll end up with 100 mls. Not a bad thing probably.

All I'll say is un happy holidays you crawley critters. The local Mall was a stupid mad house but I finally found a pair o size 14's that fit. And they didn't cost me a hundred bucks! Shoe stores have no love for the big foots.
yuck, hope ya got rid of the bugs and glad ya found some decent boots/shoes.

So what I do now is grab it close to the fat end to do the snapping. Makes use of more of the stalk, and makes me smarter than some renowned chef. Tada!
hehehe yeah, ya don't want to hold it at the tip and snap. You likely know this, but you can also put the stems in a ziploc bag in the freezer. I haven't done this, cuz I rarely if ever get to get fresh asparagus, so you'll need to look it up or ask someone else, but keep em til you have "enough" and then use them in stocks for soups, gumbo etc. Same principle applies to shrimp/crab shells, chicken carcass, ham bones, all sorts of things.

Prayers going out for your grandson, iffy!!

The pounds are slowly coming down....Last month I ordered a great pair of jeans......in a size smaller than I was wearing at that point.....yikes !! and when they came...they fit.... Now, I don't know how anyone else is, but......I want jeans to fit snug on my bum  So....last week when I got a coupon code to get 80% off on the same pair.....yep, I ordered the next size down from the ones I already had received. They arrived today. I'm wearing them .....Yes.....I'm excited !!! :p

Congratulations!! Isn't that a grand feeling?!!

"im feeling MUCH better now". I thank you all for your support and the good vibes. I know it will happen again, it is the nature of my species. When it does, i know where to turn.
Ah, I'm so happy for you!! Mine is still lingering around....such is life.

It would be better if I were the one to walk away for a few days & let everyone else enjoy The Porches. Golden Rule would apply.
Oh STOP! I'd much rather see you here. I'm a beast. I can deal with you. :D

Omg, Kay! Every other word would be obsene.
You would fit right in at my base. :pervy:

Well, y'all, before everybody gets busy with family and whatnot, let me wish all a Merry Christmas!!

No doubt, I will be zooming out of here early on Christmas Eve Morning if all goes well. After that, I have no clue where I'll be except probably at my brother's house for Christmas dinner.

I apologize for not getting into the Christmas cheer or spirit. It has been that way for many years now for me. My mother was the glue that held the family together for Christmas, and since she has been gone, family has scattered to the winds. I think my daughter will be singing all over the place on Christmas Day. I will not see my son or granddaughters, since they are in Indiana. My youngest brother is on another planet with the psycho wife from Hell, and my sister will be trying to see her grandchildren, I guess. That leaves me and my brother, and their little household. That will be enough. I'm all about peace and quiet these days.

It's been dull as dirt here for the last few days. Our immediate boss is on vacation, and although the choppers are flying, nothing is breaking, and most important inspections have already been done. I won't complain about that since I have been working a lot, and I'm SO ready for home. I'd be quite content Christmas Day to spend the day in bed with my little animals and watch movies. However, I'd be a fool to pass up a good Cajun Christmas dinner!! So, off to the country me and the dog will go.

heyyyyyy rotooooooooo sorry you're still feeling so cruddy. I know you're sick of doctors, but maybe at least trying some happy pills could help. I just hate that you've been feeling so down for so long hun!
I'll make it Deb. I've been trying to give myself an attitude adjustment with those big "attitude adjustment" screwdrivers I carry around with me. :p I just can't get enough torque on them to make it work. :-x

Well, I'll continue to keep him in prayer. Hopefully they've got a good handle on this eye and can keep him going.

You go and enjoy the heck outta being with your brother, and having that cajun Christmas supper!!! don't you dare apologize for feeling down. It happens, just wish we could help ya fix it!!
