A zip tie around the neck will stop bleeding in any body part within 5 minutes.
Not to mention future cuts and scrapes along with every type of disease known to hooman beenz.
Really a neat trick but you kin only do it once.

I have heard the same thing and have used pills that were over a year old with no diverse side effects that I noticed. Humidity is there #1 enemy...
Humidity is the reason that the worst place to store medications is in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Refrigerator is only good if you bring the sealed container and its contents up to room temperature before unsealing.

So glad to see your post. I was worried.

having to either have a catheter to wee wee

Last time I had one, they came in to remove it and I asked if I could keep it in at least through the night. I love not having to get up in the middle of the night.

I may not have gotten a "Merry Christmas" from anyone that is related to me but it was very special to have my ecf friends pick up their slack. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

I gave 2 pints of blood today so that should help someone. I'm ready for the new year! There is nothing this o'l girl can't handle. :wub:2all

i hate it when the wireless mouse accidentally gets misplaced upside down.

and then when you get back to your desk from the kitchen or bathroom, you spend 5 minutes trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with your mouse

file this under 1st world/old age problems, i guess...

Ohh she is enjoying being taken care of. I am not sure if my first name is Beck or Call.
Rejuvenate? She will be impossibly spoiled as if she was not already.
She is doing pretty well, she goes back for xrays and possible some weight bearing on the leg on 1-13.
Often forgets to lock the wheels on her chair before she gets out to bed or the toilet...
Was messing with some craft stuff on the floor and did not lock wheels and did a face forward on the floor with chair on her back. Luckily no damage to chair.
But If someone had not been here she would have been there till someone got back. Even before injury she had trouble getting up from floor.

I am just thankful for socialist FMLA.
Yep I pulled a good one a couple years ago. I was sitting on the bed changing my pants and went to stand up and forgot I didn't have my legs on. Did a header into the dresser.

I'm sorry, but that there is funny! Not the head hitting the dresser part, of course.

Humidity, light and high temps.

Why FL is so full of old looking people?

I75S & I95S!

humidity - svelte moistureized skin (wrinkled or otherwise) & no static electricity
light - sunshine = viatamin D & dat glowin' George Hamilton look (to hide da 'freckles', aka liver spots)
high temps - short sleeved shirts, surfing shorts, sandals & some sand 'hot (sic) scotch skipping'

Amen. Listening to the stories my ER nurse friend, Geordi's breeder, tells, yes, the nurses often save lives from bad decisions.
Yup. My mother was an RN.
