Yea, in the south they have no idea to handle even the smallest amount of snow.
Not just in Florida. They would do the same thing here in Louisiana. I drove in snow once when I was about 17. Somehow I managed to turn the car into a virtual sled and flew across a rather shallow ditch into a field. I just missed the farmer's fence by inches. It was one heck of a ride!

dadgummit, the time you're at work always seems so long and the time you're at home seems so short!!
This time was great! It was SO nice to actually be home for my 7 days, although I wasn't home every day. Still, I had time to spend with family, and that was the best part.

I'm still sitting here debating whether I'm going to leave tonight, or early tomorrow morning. Right now I really hate giving them any more of my time than I have to.

I've stuck with the Sure SM58 forever .. it's a near perfect mic and in a pinch, you can drive a nail with it :) .. the SM58-X2u bundle is used by many Podcasters .. you can spend some real money on a Sure KSM42, but the improvement in sound quality is not huge .. most Podcasts are compressed files anyway, so most any decent quality mic does the trick .. the one thing about Sure is, they hold their value should you ever decide to dispose of your gear ..
I've been looking at this large diaphragm condensor Mike from Monoprice.com. It's gotten some really good reviews from the likes of Tape Op Magazine. The price is outstanding.

Well we are back from Sams club. I will polrtion out the meat and vacuum seal it tomorrow. I am one tired purple kitty after 150 miles of driving, pushing the big heavy cart. Load and unloading the car and getting everything stored.

On the upside we have about 6 months of meat to freeze so we won't have to do this again for awhile.

Gracie we picked up one of those gigantic pork loin roasts you suggested. It is going to get split into 5 parts. My GOD those things are huge. I was not expecting a 10 pounder LOL

Yeah, that's a mic likely made by CAD with an XLR Phantom Power required .. if it were me, I'd get the CAD .. personally, I don't like the conductive membrane type mics .. they are just not very robust build wise at that price point .. although they look nice and do sound fine .. my criteria for a mic starts with "Will it hold up over the long term .. ??" .. thus, I like Sure

For what the Monoprice costs, I'd consider ::

Amazon.com: HOFUN Professional Condenser Recording Microphone Set, Perfect for Radio Broadcasting Studio Recording (iSK AT500 Black): Musical Instruments

or

Amazon.com: CAD GXL2200 Cardioid Condenser Microphone: Musical Instruments

Oh Myrany, you won't regret purchasing the pork loin! It is so good! We also split it into 5 pieces, and I made medium/thin chops from 3 of them.

I maybe found a partial solution to my fish oil problem. I found this stuff KunaChia Organic Chia + Probiotics (15 oz. bag) - Sam's Club which has Omega-3 without anything fish or seafood derived. We will see how palatable it is in the morning. But it is better than nothing.

Since I am unable to stand Omega 3 in any form of capsule .. my DR recommended raw almonds or walnuts mixed in with my daily consumption of Fiber One or All Bran .. since my molars are no longer what they used to be, I kind of stick to the walnuts .. LDL from 195 to 50 in three years, of course, I'm sure the statin helped .. ;)

Willie, glad you can stick with the walnuts cause they are an excellent source of omegas. Problem may be that you have to consume quite a few daily to get your quota.

You may want to include flaxseed in your regimen as it also contains ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) which is plant-based and that would cover your needs.......a tbsp sprinkled over cereal or yogurt is an excellent combo.

Me it is flat out an allergy to fish, seafood and shellfish. So the capsules were never an option. I actually have normal cholesterol. This is more of a lets prevent getting a problem.

Walnuts might be an option. My case stirred into the morning oatmeal. Yeah I am a wierdo I actually LIKE oatmeal. Mind you I sweeten mine with dried cranberrys and sliced fresh apple. LOL

yummm ... I prefer cream of wheat to oatmeal. When Janet makes oatmeal, she makes extra. Then the next morning she's frys oatmeal patties. They're yummy with some maple syrup.
