Front-Porchers said I should watch this one too, so this is just a nothing-serious pop-in comment to get the ALERTS activated for this thread.
So do we have side porches too, just in case I start wandering around and forget where I am?![]()
Battery in series just provides higher voltage. Parrallel increases available mah. In other word two 2000 mah 18650 in parallel gives 3.7volts and 4000 mah. In series it's 7.4volts at 2000 mah. Does that make sense to you?@MikeE3 what did you say about the VTC mini. Do you like it. Some of the reviewer rated it #1 for 2015. Still thinking about the Cuboid. fastech has them for $44 Don't need the power but the 2 battery life would be nice guess they are in series instead of parallel with 2 battery bars. I take it that type series it will use one and then the other or how does that work.
That's what I decided too. Heard the VP4 is excellent and decided on 3 VTCminis. With the 3.0 FW upgrade they are supposed to do excellent as far as accuracy and I really don't care for these multi battery mods. It's easy to carry a couple of extra batteries plus the upgrade is so easy on the Joyetech products. Does Ni, Ti, SS and manual TCR can't beat that. I can get a few more batteries and the charger at RTD who I trust and the VTC from MVS who I also trust which makes me feel better. Vape NW has a cheaper price but when you add sales tax which I have to pay it comes up to 20 cents diff for 3. $9 sales tax.definitely not Efest......I've always heard that Xtar are better than the nitecorp
So you got yer exercise but wuddya gonna eat?Thought I was going to get to go out tonight...pffft...that fell through
So, opened the package Caesar Salad and mixed it up![]()
Well welcome to the back porch Fuzzy. Pull up a rocker and set a while.Front-Porchers said I should watch this one too, so this is just a nothing-serious pop-in comment to get the ALERTS activated for this thread.
?Cold enough to freeze the brass bosoms off a well digging witch?
Sorry things didn't work out. We're here for you but, somehow, I don't think it's the same.Thought I was going to get to go out tonight...pffft...that fell through

Oh Kay, am so sorry you had such a bad start this morning!So..I started off my day in my usual inimitable style.....
set the alarm for 8:00 am, got fixed up for a change to go to the Dr..... when it was almost time for the bus to arrive i fixed up a large insulated lidded coffee cup to take with me, put it in my purse when the bus arrived, making sure the lid was on tight and the flip-up thing was closed and it was against the edge of the purse with wallet etc. tight against it.
Arrived at the Dr.s....it was closed! Lazy pikers...NYE doesn't start till evening and besides, they close at 4:00 pm anyway.
So had to ride around in the bus for another hour till he had pickups and dropoffs in my area. At one pickup I moved to the back of the bus so I could vape and sip coffee. Flipped the lid, tipped the cup...nothing. Took off the lid...no coffee in the cup, about 9-10 ozs. was in the bottom of my purse...along with my wallet, Kleenex, sunglasses ,address book..that I'd just filled from the old one ( which I then threw away) and my cellphone.
It IS tuff being me![]()
That's a lot of wrapping to do, but I bet you're glad it's done for now! There was no already frozen stuff left LOL. We had finished off everything intentionally before we did this run. The result was though that the run was twice as big as usual since we went 6 months between em. Yep I am going to be repackaging stuff all day as I wait for the sealer to cool off.
The haul from yesterday in fresh meat alone that I have to repackage.
10 pound pork loin roast (split into 5)
16 pounds of ground Angus chuck
16 pounds of 1 inch thick boneless pork chops
16 pound of Angus eye of round roast
15 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 whole chickens
I also have to split into portions and seal frozen stuff that is in giant sams size bags
10 pounds of Italian meatballs
6 huge bags of various frozen veggies
It is gonna be a busy day
This trip wasn't so much about saving money as it was about getting us supplied with decent meat as the quality here in town is absolutely horrid. That supply will last us another 3-6 months and then we do it again.
And lastly, an End of the Year Shout out to a couple folks that graced us with their Joys and Sorrows for Far, Far Too Short a Time ..
Debbie (my4jewels) .. the Worlds Biggest Toby Keith Fan .. Classic Margarita, Over Ice, Salt that Rim .. thinking of you ..
And to the Guy that should always get the Credit for Helping all of Us start on this Journey .. Randall Fortenberry .. TX .. I'm guessing that if there is an Afterlife, he's worn out a few pairs of Cowboy Boots swinging around the Dance Floor .. and flirted with his fair share of the Ladies .. salute, My Brother ..

I heard the same from respectable people and paid the price for the Xtar VP1. It's been good to me, even reviving a totally IMR 18490.definitely not Efest......I've always heard that Xtar are better than the nitecorp
Most regulated mods will eventually drain the battery below safe levels. Eventually I say some will drain it faster than others.I heard the same from respectable people and paid the price for the Xtar VP1. It's been good to me, even reviving a totally IMR 18490.
Hint: If you put away a Provari for half a year or more, remove the battery. The device will allow it to go totally dead.
