Ginny got her pet scan today and tomorrow we find out what they are going to do next. Either a different Chemo or possibly a new clinical trial she may be eligible for. What ever it is I hope it helps her be around a little longer. Plus makes her feel somewhat better.
Everything OK with the scan today?

    Thank you...
Yiddle. I have 2 DOTS that are in service. If you are going to use them from a distance you have to make sure the tv is turned down or anything else that makes noise. They work much better if you are close, they are hard for me to hear from a distance. I have the volume all the way up but I think the echo may have better range. Thinking of getting a powered BT speaker for the one in the living room. You can ask her to play certain music for you and she complies but the quality of the sound isn't that good. A speaker would take care of that and I also think an echo would work better for sound quality. I have never even seen one except in pics but it is bigger with a bigger speaker and more power. The are really handy. Used to be if I wanted to find out something I would google it now I can just ask Alexa.

WOW!!! Yesterday was a busy day for us but it was a good day. We got the results of the Pet Scan and were dumbfounded. The first one she got. She had a large mass in her right lung, 3 smaller ones in her liver, 2 lymph nodes, kidney area. They gave us a copy of that one and yesterdays. All of the masses are gone didn't light up except 1 in the liver which is greatly reduced. So she is almost in remission. If I understood enough it can return but for now it is excellent news. No sign of Cancer except for the one mass and they are going to send us to the Radiation Oncologist and see if it can be removed with Cyberknife or Radiation treatment. So this means no more Chemo at present. We are so happy that headway has been made. How long it stays like this is anyone's guess, but excellent news. She was wondering if the Cancer was going to kill her, thought the Chemo was going to do that first.

We talked about it on the way there, I was having a bad day and told her I needed some good news somewhere. We got it all the prayers and God came thru.

Thanks everyone for your prayers, they seem to have been answered. I know that this is probably a temporary thing, but everyone thinks it may be a miracle, which it is. Don't take me wrong, I am really happy with these results but I'm also a realist and know that it is not a permanent thing. Everyone thinks that it is and who knows, maybe but for now I am really happy for her. What this means to me is it may lengthen the time we get to be together. So needless to say we were very happy campers and still are. She has no more boot and almost in remission. YAY!!

Yep we couldn't believe it. She gave us the picture of the initial Pet Scan and the one she had Tuesday. The initial one had spots all over that lit up Tuesdays they were all gone but the one. It was amazing nothing lit up at all except the one spot.

@2legsshrt, what fantastic news! Made my day!
Thanks you guys. It definitely made ours also. Ginny is fixing breakfast which I am no good at and she likes the bacon&eggs and fried potatoes just so which I don't do well. I'm having a heck of a time with this pressure sore that's infected on my left leg. He told me if I don't keep it clean and keep my leg off its not going to heal and I could have a really bad mess. I haven't been able to do that cause we have so many things going on. The next 4 days we don't so I'm going to try to keep it off as much as possible.

That's what my Gdaughter said they had frost this morning in Spanaway.

They're not too far from us, and about 500' lower. We were frostless, but they probably got more fog overnight. All we got was cold!
