Had a wonderful cell fone reunion convo with Phil (Semiretired) dis PM. He and his bride returned via da 'big pond' a couple of months ago after a six month annual PI 'mission'.

Da BIG news is dat he no longer vapes. Fate had da major hand in dat 'decision'. First day in country (PI) he forgot his one of three Provaris in a cab. Week and a half later, he dropped 'nother Provari dat was DOA after a 'drop' retrieval. Da last survivor must of gotten lonely and said no mo' a week or so later.

He said dat vaping equipment over dere is obscenely over priced, not countin' hard to locate! Ergo, he went cold PV! He only has dat ol' muscle memory as to reachin' for a vape. He's has had no nic withdrawal whatsoever!

Dis trip he and his bride got to take, not one, but two never before experienced 'vacations' while in country! Hope to have sum pics in a little while to post here.

So... welcome back, Semi and bride. Oh, and a happy 30th WA this past April!!! View attachment 820751 View attachment 820751 View attachment 820751

Misswish beat me to it - thank you so much for the update. I was wondering how they were doing. He'd mentioned that they were going to fit in a vacation when they went to PI so that's great that they got 2 of them! That's wonderful. I do hope he gets around to posting some pictures - we know he'll have a ton to choose from!

Thanks for letting us know @Iffy ... I did see a few posts on his FB page after he returned. I keep waiting and hoping he make a showing 'here' but I guess we won't be seeing him if he gave up vaping. He'll be missed.

You remember those old Smok GBC and EBC tanks? I loved those. The new tanks (even the mtl ones) all seem to have those giant mouth pieces that's more like a fat 'ole cigar than a cigarette. A nice person recommended an innoken, but the mouth piece is giant. Can anyone recommend a tank that is more like the old GBC tanks and their little mouth pieces? Thank you!!!

The innokin zenith I recommended has a normal size drip tip / mouth piece no larger in diameter than a cig a like or any of the older tanks including the ebc or gbc.
It does look different and isn't built in / part of the tank, it is removable, so you can replace it with just about any '510' drip tip you like. It comes with 2 different drip tips.

You must be looking at a different tank or the pictures are not representative of the actual product.

Don't know about the Smoke GBC and EBC tanks you're referring to, but I agree about the huge mouth pieces. I really don't like those big fat ones either. I have a container full of drip tips that I can change out for the fat ones.

I feel the same about those fat tips. There may be an adapter available to let you fit a standard driptip to a device designed for the fat ones. If not, anyone with a lathe should be able to turn such an adapter from Delrin.

What I have found is the adapters only work for that atty. It is irritating, now if they don't come with an adapter or can't fit a 510, I don't buy the atty.

FYI: Actually most of the Innokin Tanks usually come with at least 2 drip tips ( 2 - 510 "Cig-a-likes" 2 - Black and/or 1-black 1- SS --- or --- 1- Cuff & 1 - 510 "Cig-a-like") depending on the tank, including the Sub Tanks (et al), Prism Tanks, Ares, & Zenith. Also most of these tanks can accommodate many different 510 drip tips that you may have too. Matter of fact, I've been using a 510 Pyrex Drip tip (really wish I could get more of these) on a Prism Tank for quite some time . . . It would be nice if all the manufactures offered 2 drip tips with their tanks (at least one that is a regular 510) . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Da Patrick's Trials and Tribulations Saga continues...

Several days ago he was reaching for his walker, lost his balance and garnered a hairline pelvic fracture. So off again to da rehab center. He'll be heading back 'home' tomorrow. Teased him again 'bout bubble wrap...

He's been so impressed with his granddaughters' help and attention. Guess they're treatin' ol' G'dad right! He does have his own room with remote controlled (almost) everything.

Ginny's ashes were interred in her family burial plot the other day. Of course Patrick missed that also. BUT, one of their GDs happened to video Ginny going to bed the night she passed. Ginny said "I love you!" to Pat; the best of last words!

    Prayers out! Love, live, endure...

Oh no! He really needs a break. This is all so rough on him. I'm glad they got video for him. That is precious. He sounded like he was having a hard time in his last post. Prayers up indeed!

Hopefully that indicates a better frame of mind, in spite of the hairline.

    Yup,
