Watching my favorite Stephen King of all times "The Stand"
Yeah thats what I thought at first when I started talking to her but she is just a 35 year old kid her brother died of the same thing she has. She has a little store which is really not a store it's just a little shack in front of her house that she shares with her mom. She has 2 kids and the father left. At first it sounded like a scam but she never asked for anything and if you go to her FB page it's just pictures of her and family members. Seems she has a lot of family. No one has much but she seems happy. She did ask me one time about 3 years ago if I needed someone to come to the states to take care of me. She didn't know I was married. She is in some kind of like a jr college. Most of her posts are in Phillipino to her friends. She's just a nice kid with a medical problem but shes working on it. Her english is not the best but she gets by.
Gentle repetition goes further, slowly accomplishes just as much, increases endurance & strength, & all without making you miserable.Stephen King nearly always gives me adrenalin overdoses. Nope, not watching that.
Going to church tonight. Tomorrow dinner with friends and attending their church services. They don't believe in computers, so will be out of contact most of the day.
Learning that leisurely use of exercise bicycle prevents burning muscles. Trying to act athletic is counterproductive to becoming more athletic. Physical therapy for tendinitis.
Yeah I like Stephen King but this has always been my favorite. 6 hours long so will have to stop with episode 2 and finish up after the game. No outdoor activities here except for Ginny is going to fix the mailman his yearly Christmas cookies and other goodies and trudge out to the mailbox with it. Same mailman for at least 12-15 years good guy.Stephen King nearly always gives me adrenalin overdoses. Nope, not watching that.

Those are beautiful, Legs! Thank you for sharing a White Christmas! We've had a few crisp days, but lowest has been at night & maybe mid to high 30's a couple of times this month.![]()

It's getting to look a lot like Christmas here.
Wish it was that way here. Me and snow don't play well together. Those are beautiful, Legs! Thank you for sharing a White Christmas! We've had a few crisp days, but lowest has been at night & maybe mid to high 30's a couple of times this month.

Me either. I can handle a few days as long as I have a fireplace. After that I'm over it.Wish it was that way here. Me and snow don't play well together.

Beautiful pictures of your lovely family!Well we haven't been about the porch much this week. Been a busy week. Kaitlin, Brian and Huxley have came in last weekend and we've been doing a lot of family time. We'll be celebrating Christmas tomorrow with Michael, Rachel, Miles, Kaitlin, Brian, and Huxley all together ... what more could we ask. Kate and her family fly out on Christmas day for Arizona to be w/ Brian's Dad before heading back to Colorado.
So Janet's been baking ... this is our traditional Dobas Torta ... although Janet kicked it up a notch with a fancy top.

Been so nice having Kate and Hux around for the week.

Ain't he a cutie ... he likes to smile ... he's a happy baby.

Michael's been around a couple days and we had Mile's around too this week. This is his 'just off the boat at Ellis Island' look.

But this is he real look ... he's already a huge fan of Batman ... not a surprise so is my son.

Just love having both the grand babies around this week.

A true winter wonderland! This morning at our house.

Santa has to come collect his deer.
I kind of believe that I have seen my last snow in person. Not ruling anything out but it was 79° today. Christmas at the brother in law's tomorrow. Prime rib. Looking forward to it. Merry Christmas to everyone. I'll be on tomorrow but, just in case, thought I would get it out there.Love the snow 0 in other peoples pics that is... Lived in it enough for my fill. Maybe that is one of the reasons we try to go to the Philippines during the winter. Their idea of winter is it gets down to 74...
Nice Pics Legs and yes I see the family resemblance...

Ah yes, one of my all-time Stephen King movies. A couple others of his I really enjoy are The Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption. I also believe that The Green Mile and The Stand, run pretty much right with the books.Watching my favorite Stephen King of all times "The Stand"
