Love it!! A little known, or unknown, factoid...I am a certified Bunka instructor and can identify which Japanese companies produced the kits for each of those pictures you've shown here...;) The picture on the wall behind me on my FB page is, in fact, bunka that I did ....:)
You are so talented! I've admired that picture!

I wouldn't worry about individuals who follow you.
not worried about it, just annoying.

Only Deb said she recorded it and she won't mind - she's to sweet to get upset... :rolleyes:o_O;) I really like the part where

- nope no more spoilers here
I know it's been way too long for ya, so here ya go .........

Speaking of popcorn, I've been eating a lot of it these days. No sugar and takes more calories to chew it up than it has in it. Gotta add a little extra salt though. ;):)
Jup, pretty much my go to snack. But I do put spray butter on it, so not really a low cal thing. Just easy to keep around.

they did some tests and put him in an ambulance and trasferred him to Childrens Hospital in Seattle. He has Myocarditis, they don't expect him to be released till Sunday at the earliest. Not good.
I go to the Oncologist today and see what he thinks.
oh dear. So glad he's in a great hospital and really wishing the very best for him! Glad mama is able to be there with him.

Had my PET scan today. Geez ... I don't want to do that again. 1st you're injected w/ a radio-isotope. Then sit in a very warm room for 1 hour while it circulates in your system. The room is warm on purpose because it's supposed to help it circulate better.

Then off to the lab room which is kept at 60 degrees because the machine has to stay very cool. You're laid on a narrow table, warm blankets are draped over you. You put your hands back over your head and then stay in that position for 45 minutes while this tube move along your body. It starts at you head and works it's way down to your thighs. It pauses 9 times along the way for 5 minutes doing whatever the heck it does.

I was more then ready to get up and out of there. Now just waiting on the results.
Soooooooo glad everything is fine!

Man I had the worst Phantom Pain this morning I have ever had. Lasted about 2 hours and the pain was excruciating. It would make my whole body tense up and felt like it was coming from my left heel. I've never had anything like that. It would last about 30-60 seconds then stop and within 5min I would get another. I couldn't rub anywhere to make it stop, it was miserable. I don't even think pain meds would've made it stop. It was like a nerve that wasn't there.
Hope you don't go through that again!

Dog is ok... Had something in his eye... Finally got most of it out.

Very glad to hear this!

My 2 little Corgi bros are gone. I'm sooo not okay with it.
:(

Hey all! I have been unable to hang out for quite some time. Much going on on the home front and with the writing/marketing. I have a question about tanks tho. Am looking for one that doesn't have the metalic taste of the Aspire nautilus. Any recs?
Soooooooooo glad to see you!! Think about you and Mr Peach so often, really miss y'all!!

Wow a girl who was our GD best friend in Elementary school, who went to a bar on Fathers Day with her fiancee and father of her 2 month old. We haven't seen her for probably 10 years but back then she was living with her Gramma also 2 houses away from us, She went on vacation with us for a month to Havasu. Anyway some 21 year old guy with multiple DUI's and probation violation and known substance abuser was harassing Crystal and 2 of her girlfriends and her boyfriend stepped in and told him to stop. Well this guy from what the police reports say, sucker punched her boyfriend once knocking him out, he fell backwards hitting his head on the cement and died the next day from severe head injuries. Really sad, I hope they give him the max, he is charged with aggrevated manslaughter.
oh that's horrible!

... aka goblets...

Nope, during the whole trip - nobody went hungry. I almost had to walk the 400 miles home to work off the lbs I gained...:w00t::lol:
Jup, a lot of good food, and one of the highlights for me was the lumpia! Not sure about my town, but near post we have several great Asian markets. Still have the photo of the wrapper box. I think when I'd tried to make something similar before, my filling was too moist. Still have plans at some point to fill the freezer with em. Once my son and his dad finally get the freezer over here  My dil and I both love the cream cheese wontons they make at the chinese restaurant we order from sometimes. Really wanna make those too. I've done crab rangoons but like em folded over in a triangle better.

I get scared but I try not to give up. Not worth it although it sometimes requires a little help but try to keep positve.
You just astound me with your attitude despite all you go through! You truly are a marvel Pat!! I'd be worried if you didn't get scared occasionally, but you most always pull out of it fairly quickly. I think only one time I've seen you really down for quite awhile. You are truly an inspiration!

As of today I am officially a welder

yay!!! That's wonderful hun! So glad you get so much pleasure from it!

Ok, I'm going to overload you with pictures. We're visiting our good friends Linda and Gunnar in Beverly, MA. Linda has some of Gunnar's mother's art work hanging in the house. I've never seen anything like it.

It's Japanese Bunka Embroidery done by Esther Overberg (the MIL of the family we're visiting in Massachusetts.) Several of them have won awards.

First is the full work, then a close up for the detail. Sorry about some of the angles ... but I was trying to avoid the glare on the glass.

And this is Linda's favorite. She said it reminds her of her and Janet talking. And boy, do they.

Has anyone ever tried hydrocortisone cream for poison. I also wonder if it would help with a case of shingles. That's not even a suggestion, but maybe a speculation.

@Kenna yeah I will let them do all the tests and see how they come out. Then if the nodules are cancer I am going to tell them that I am going to get a second opinion and I can get all the results and go to a doc around here. They don't know that much about my heart. They did say that if they were cancer that removing them usually gets rid of it. I'm hoping they aren't. If I didn't have other insurance this would be a godsend but I do have Medicare and a good Supplement so it will be paid for either way. I have to get the OK from my cardiologist anyway. He told me if I had to have surgery he wanted to do some other tests.
Buddy, I'm hoping they aren't too. Continuing to pray for you.

OK, which is worst? An itch ya can't reach or an itch ya ain't suppose to scritch...

BTW, dat's not considerin' a nose itch while being CAT/MRI/PET scanned. As fer moi, "Spock, rescan!"...

I'll share - you can have mine since were friends... :w00t::lol:
My experience has been you can get relief (at least some) by scrubbing the area with dawn dishwashing detergent. You need to ensure you remove as much of the essential oils as possible followed by a liberal cortisone application. P I has never bothered me but Doree is terribly allergic. Swells right up.

I got some stuff from the doc - she suggested an oatmeal bath since I got it on almost every inch of my body. I ain't takin no bath in no oatmeal.

I have had this before - a couple of years ago - with the meds and the lotion - 48 hours the itch and the redness will be under control - its just getting through the 48 hours that hard... After that about 7 - 10 days for it to all disappear...

Yea, I have been near immune all my life - just to many days in a row working around it and not properly avoiding sweating and letting it sink in deep.

When this happened to me two years ago - I swore I would be more careful in the future. Just like a dumb hick - don't even know how to listen to first hand experience...

Now I gotta pay - maybe now I can remember better...
